Beautiful robe

I bought two of these for my mom. She didn't want anything too heavy. The only draw back is the size. We ordered the large thinking she normally wears a medium, and it would be roomy enough for bulky pajamas underneath.They run EXTREMELY large. My dad described the large by saying he could fit himself, and two gorillas in it. We sent them back and ordered two small sizes. They fit perfectly.

The robe itself is good quality. I have had it for about a year, and the stitching has held up well, even though I accidentally put it in with a load on medium heat once. It also dries fairly unwrinkled if you hang dry it. The material is very smooth, and the inside does not chafe or irritate bare skin. I was impressed with the smoothness of the material for the price. It does run a bit large. I would recommend ordering one size smaller than normal, especially if you do not plan on wearing pajamas under it. I was somewhat disappointed with the color. I ordered the purple, but it was more maroon than purple when I received it. It could have been my device that made the image look more purple than it actually was. I would order it again, just one size smaller and in black instead of purple.

I LOVE it! So hard to find a robe these days. I guess young women don't wear them. Well so bet it, I shall be a little ole lady who wears robes. I had a peach silky robe throughout the 80s and into the 90s and tossed it. I shouldn't have because it has been so difficult to find a similar robe until now. Same exact pattern with pockets and tie inside robe too. I would prefer the champagne color to be a little lighter but it is ok. The fabric feels very smooth - the inside of the robe is a little different fabric - more absorbent. I love my things roomy - especially robes and loungewear so I am VERY happy with this. I am 5'8 and 185 lbs, very very long arms. I am a XL as long as it runs roomy. If not, I am a XXL. I ordered the XL and it is plently large for me. Even the sleeves comes midway of my hands. I wear a 16. Its very loose on my so I would say these robes run very roomy. But I love that so no problem. the fabric is great, nice and smooth and silky. It comes in a nice box too. Delivered on time. I think I may get another one just because it has been so hard to find one like this and because it is so great.
Medium is like Large/Extra Large, no kidding.

I read the reviews for this robe so ordered a Medium when I definitely wear a Large normally. Even the medium is a bit long in the sleeves and wraps over twice in the front. It works okay, but a small would be the "perfect fit". I'm 5'6" and it goes down close to my ankles. The material is very nicely sewn with black edging and is not thin and flimsy. Doubled material on cuffs and on collar all the way down the front to the bottom. Color is exactly as shown.If the sizing were right, I definitely would have given it 5 stars.
Good, Larger than Expected

I ordered the beige, and the color is nice, looks better in person. I normally wear between a 1X to 2X and ordered the X-Large. I could have definitely went with a Large and still had room for flannel pajamas. Does run large. Larger in the shoulder area and plenty to wrap around. The fabric although it says Satin seemed a little stiffer, but it's okay. The inside has a lining that is thin and I would say it has some sort of spandex in it. This does make the robe good for wearing in cooler weather as that plastic/spandex will keep you a little warmer. I received it in a small package and thought how tiny it was, no way to get a robe in that, they did. The robe does feel good on to lounge around in the evening, and I would recommend it, just order one size down.
Silky beautiful robe but slightly imperfect fit

Beautiful wine colored robe. The fit is a little off though. I ordered the medium and length-wise, it's good, and possibly a little short, but it's a little big in the width. The arms are super long. I have to roll them up or they are dragging in everything when I am trying to make breakfast. The torso also seems a little short. The belt is also smaller than most belts. The fabric is super silky, washes well and is richly colored. It's very comfortable except for the long arms which can be rolled up. Not easy to find a silky robe like this for 19.99.
Not relaxed, just plain big.

I was looking forward to the extra room of a relaxed fit robe, but this one is just HUGE. I expected it to be nice and roomy, but even the arms are far too long. I would not consider this relaxed fit; I'd consider it mis-sized. If the arms were a normal length it would be more comfortable. The fabric seems to snag fairly easily and I noticed several stray threads after only being worn a couple times. If I were to order again, I'd probably order two sizes smaller.

Ladies...GET THIS ROBE!!! You will not be sorry. Luxurious feel, comes in a nice box for gifting too. I ordered a medium, and I usually wear a ladies L-XL, and it fits perfect. Almost like you are ordering a mens size, but this is definitely not a mens robe!! Comes down to my ankles, too, just like I like, and I am 5'8". You won't be sorry! This is just what I wanted! (And washes well on delicate/tumble dry low.)
