Very long and heavy

I have been searching for a robe that isn't silky/satiny but also isn't fluffy fleece either, which apparently is a very difficult thing to find. The material of this robe is kind of thin, but weirdly stretchy and VERY heavy. The weight of the material plus the stretchiness makes it feel as though it is constantly pulling downward. I ordered a medium--I'm 5'5" and wear a medium in most clothing, but this was too big. It was very long and also the sleeves were too long. The sleeves were also too big and open, they trailed everywhere and would definitely get caught in things, knock things over, get dipped into drinks, etc. I returned this item. It seemed made well enough, but it really wasn't what I was looking for.

I love this robe! I am a 6'0 tall woman and the fit is perfect! The material is ridiculously soft, doesn't run hot or too cold. I love the attached tie. I read a lot of the reviews which said it ran large, which was good for me. It is long enough for me (which is hard to find) it cuts probably mid calf. The sleeves are nice and long, again, great for MY size. I can't say enough good things. This is the robe I've been looking for.
Sleeves Way Too Long/Uncomfortable Back Inset

I really had high hopes for this robe, but had to send it back. First of all, I'll say some positive things, and then get to the negatives.1. The material is very soft and feels great on the skin.2. Even though some say it's a bit on the heavy side--which it is--it was just the weight I wanted.3. The length of the robe was just right.Now for the negatives that made me dock it two stars and return it.1. The sleeves are way too long and wide. I'm 5'4" and the sleeves hit me at my finger tips. Since I don't sew, I would have to pay someone to alter the sleeves, and I didn't want to spend any more money on this thing.2. The inset for the sash in the back was extremely uncomfortable. In fact, it was the first thing I noticed as soon as I put it on. I have a Cabernet robe with a back inset, and it doesn't bother me at all because of the way they sewed it. In this robe, they left the seams exposed, and while they weren't scratchy, they were still uncomfortable.3. It was just a tiny bit too small where it wrapped around. I could have lived with it, though, had it not been for the sleeves and that uncomfortable inset.Unless you have long arms, and wouldn't be bothered by the back inset, look for something else.

As others have said, the sleeves are long - see the photo I attached. I added a few stitches to keep them rolled so they don't drag in my food, etc. I don't love how wide the sleeves are, but I think it's intentional as a kimono style robe. I may ask my mother in law to help me tailor the sleeves to be more fitted. I bought a small and I am 5'5", currently 39 weeks pregnant, and the robe is about 8" from the floor. The tie fits over my bump fine but after baby comes it will tie more naturally around my belly button area. My favorite feature of the robe is the fabric- so soft and stretchy.

I bought this robe because I'm going to be modeling for a figure drawing class at school, and after personally observing other models slink around the halls self-consciously in their ratty robes during our breaks, I vowed not to make the same mistake. I bought this robe because I wanted something dark, opaque, and that I wouldn't feel uncomfortable in if I try to chat up a hot art history professor. I LOVE that the tie is sewn in, and it hits right at the perfect spot for me, so knowing I won't have to worry about losing it or making sure it's threaded through both holds is great.As other reviewers have mentioned, the fabric is heavy. Not heavy as in thick though, heavy as in a nice heavy stretchy fabric. It's one of those fabrics that feels luxurious and soft when it drapes over you but you can still see nipples through it. Despite that, it has an inner tie to secure it so there's no gaping in the front.I already love this robe so much I'll probably get another one in a different color.
Quality good but not 68.00 bucks worth.

I do love the robe. I wanted a black, heavier robe that wasn't fuzzy. The weight is pretty good ( not thin fabric)- not too hot , but doesn't leave you cold either. It appears to be made very well, quality is very nice. I read in other reviews that the sleeves were longer and wider than should be which I whole- heartedly agree with. Sleeves are extremely wide, even too wide to roll up so I've decided to sew in an elastic cuff. This will be easy to do since they are extra long as well as wide. Otherwise they are truly a nuisance. My biggest complaint is the price. 68.00 is quite high- for such a robe. I think I expected a bit heavier (thicker) fabric for that price. I will keep it though because it's the best one I've seen that wasn't fuzzy in the color I wanted plus I hate having to return things, when checks most of the boxes.

I am 5'5" and I wear a 18 in most clothing items so I purchased a XL. This robe is perfect, it is very soft and not constricting at all. I typically have an issue with long sleeves because they are never long enough. The sleeves on this robe are plenty long possibly even too long in some situations. It has an inside tie as well as the outside sash that is connected to the robe. And is actually fitted to my waist and doesn't make me feel huge when I wear it because of so much extra material like most cotton or Terry robes. It is the perfect length as it stops right above my ankle. I would definitely recommend to a friend!

The material of this robe feels fantastic, and there's a kind of magic in how it keeps me cozy in colder temperatures but cool in warmer temperatures.After reading several reviews mentioning that the fit is larger than advertised, I ordered a size down. I'm a size 16, so I ordered an X-large of this product instead of ordering the plus-size version in size 1X. I'm VERY happy with the fit.

I loved the color of this product, but upon trying it on, I felt like it was so much material that it totally swallowed me. And I'm a rather tall girl! The sleeves were so long---but not in a good way. I normally love long sleeves, but these were so baggy it felt like it belonged to a giant.The wide waistband is a great idea, but I guess my waist is higher than average. (Short torso, long legs.) This resulted in the waistband being near my hips, and if I pulled it up to fit around my waist, the top of the robe would bunch up in an unflattering way.The imperfect fit combined with the heavy feeling of the material led to me returning this. I intended to bring it with me on a trip, but it felt way too bulky to pack into my small suitcase, and I ended up taking a lighter cotton robe. Still, I thought it was well-made and others might like it more than I did.

I can't say enough good things about this robe and the coordinating pajamas. The first words that come to mind are comfort and beautiful draping. They have that wonderful weight and bounce that bamboo garments have and move with your body while you wear them. At 54 I tend to get a little over heated at times but never in this robe or the matching pj's. Like I said in a past post, the only trouble with these robes and pajamas is that you won't want to take them off! I just can't recommend them enough :)

I don't usually write reviews, but was so impressed with this product that I felt compelled. The first thing I noted was the feel of the fabric. It's so soft and cool to the touch, yet when I put the robe on, it felt warm and cozy. There is a tie inside, as well as an extra wide sash on the outside that feels comfortable and adds to a flattering shape. If you're looking for an elegant robe that's not big and bulky, but will still keep you warm, I would highly recommend this one.

Super stretchy and drapey. Love the fit and the built in tie. True to size! Im 5'4" and the medium fit me hitting about 6" above my ankle. My roomate got the small and she is 5'2" and about 3 inches above her ankle. Washed well so far in tye machine and on low heat in the dryer

Great robe. Wonderful sized pockets.Super comfortable and soft on the skin. I love that the straps are sewed into the robe itself. Makes for a great fit and the robe doesn't get loose as I move around. Is both warm and breezy when needed.Sleeves are a bit flowy, sometimes get into things when I'm working on something quickly in the morning.But a beautiful robe

colour is perfect soft dove grey. fabric stays cool, so you won't overheat. sleeves are a little big, if you are trying to make breakfast in your robe. the fit is a little big, so i bought the size smaller and it fit perfect. the sash is really long and stays tied. LOVE IT
