Fit is a little weird

I purchased this robe on 8/28/14 and only paid $28.05 and today when I came to review it the price has TRIPLED to over $75????? If I had purchased this robe for that amount of money it would be returned but for the much lower price point I will be keeping it and accepting the drawbacks of the fit and style.I'm very tall so I do not like any belts that are attached like this one because they never hit at my waist like they should. When I ordered the robe I didn't pay enough attention to the details so I was pretty disappointed about the belt and it lands about 3" about my waistline. As someone else mentioned in their review the robe gets narrow at the bottom which causes it to not overlap below the hip like my previous robes. But the fabric is very plush and soft and I love the color pink that I ordered. Just wish that it had the usual robe cut that is slightly wider below the knee.

I've purchased three of these robes over the past 6 months for my elderly mother. Two of them are wonderful, the material of the plum feels like the other two (latte/red) but it sure did not wash well. I washed it separately and when I opened my washer there was about a gallon container size of fluff in the washer. I shook the robe out, placed it in the dryer and holy cow there was another gallon of fluff. I washed it a second time thinking that all the loose fibers would have fallen out and it would wash without falling apart, nope another big mess. The latte and red one are absolutely wonderful true to size or a little roomer, and long the attached belt is really nice, big pockets overall a great robe just depends on the material, I would recommend this robe if you like soft fleece polyester type of robes.
Size up if you're busty!

I noted "somewhat small" in the listing, but that is specifically aimed at those of a more generous bust, like myself. I got the 3X for comfort, and it was true to size on the rest of me, but only just covered my top bits; I wanted a wearable blanket, but this was more of a smoking jacket for me. ;)The upside is that my daughter LOVED it - very soft and cozy!Woe unto the big-boobed, I guess.

Great texture and feel; lightweight yet warm and cozy. Sleeves are long for a regular length, but hey, if that's all that's wrong with it, I can make my own custom adjustments. A long armed person would fit much better. The length is pleasing and the robe closes nicely around the full body. I really like this robe and on other websites, the price for the same item was much higher, so it's a bargain on amazon. It hasn't been laundered yet, but I'm sure it will come out looking like new still.

I am in love with this robe. I could not find anything comparable in stores. For size reference I am a size 20 in jeans and this robe (3x) wraps around me with room to spare, which is exactly what you want in a robe. It's also SO SOFT. I wish I could live in it :) Unfortunately my boss does not agree. So if you're looking for a large, comfy, snuggletastic robe that isn't the standard "one size fits skinny", you found it.

The length is fine and I am only 5 foot 4 inches tall. The sleeves are a little too long. It fits basically how a robe should fit. I washed it prior to first use and it washed and dried beautifully. The only reason I need a robe is for first thing in the am when I take the dog out, so I never have it on for more than 10 minutes. It is soft and feels nice to the touch. If I knew how to sew I would shorten the sleeves a little. I love that the belt is sewn in, so you can't misplace it! I would order it again.

The robe is beautiful, soft, and plush, but I ordered a size up and like another verified purchaser commented in their review, the robe, "is roomy enough around the waist but it narrows around the legs so that it doesn't wrap around as much around the legs as I had hoped", which is exactly the problem, even though I am only 5'2", the robe isn't as full around the legs as I had hoped and it opens a bit at the calves so if it was a couple of inches wider around the legs so that it would completely wrap around them, then it would be perfect, but other than that I really like it and am happy with my purchase.

Love this robe! I looked and looked and looked for a comfortable robe and this robe is the BOMB! I am tall 5'10 and this robe goes past my knees. The sleeves are nice and long and the fabric is very cozy. Love the fabric, love the colour, and am so happy with this purchase!

This is a thick, cozy fleece. Unfortunately, it made a HUGE mess when I washed it - TONNES of fluff balls in the washer, in the dryer, and all over the fabric. I tried to clean it off with a lint roller, and then the vacuum cleaner, and eventually I gave up and tossed it out. It wasn't wearable.
