Nice weight, well-made, the longer length which is hard to find is perfect for cold winter weather. Highly recommend this robe.

I bought this robe for everyday use, which can be a bit demanding with four cats and a large dog, living in a rural area. (Read cat claws, dog fur, and grass burrs.) The robe is much larger than I expected. I always order a size larger because I hate sleep/lounge wear that is tight and fitting. But these robes must run large, because this is really too large. I kept it, however, hoping that it might shrink a little in the wash. (It didn't, but I did wash it in cold water.) It didn't shrink in the dryer, either, but it shed handfuls of fluff, so I recommend washing/drying your robe before wearing. It did "shed" a bit before I washed it. It is long and very warm, which is a plus. It does snag very easily. I seem to find new snags every time I look down. That's unfortunate, but I did buy it to take abuse, and the price is reasonable for that purpose. If you want fancy, buy something else. So, in spite of the so-called problems I've had with the robe, I'm keeping it and wearing it every day because I like it!

After searching high and low for a full length robe, I came across this one. I read the reviews and was a bit Leary on purchasing it but went ahead and ordered it knowing I could return it if I needed to.It arrived this morning and I opened it to reveal a very long and not so soft robe. I tried it on and it fit perfectly! Floor length just like I wanted and the fit was just right! I'm 5'2 and it just barely touches the ground.As far as the lack of softness, I decided to wash it. I had read reviews that said "it shrunk at least a foot" after washing it, so I washed it in cold water and used liquid fabric softener. I dried it, but on low heat and just put it back on. I don't see or feel that it shrank at all.The robe is heavy which is what I was looking for since winter is approaching. I highly recommend this robe! My only advise it to wash on cool and tumble dry with low heat:)

They sent me the wrong robe. I ordered a woman's XXL burgundy robe with a hood....I received a men's (in my opinion) without hood..it is so long in length and sleeves it fits my 6ft 245 lb husband perfect..the quality is great and it's really heavy and warm but now I'm in a dilemma because I wore it and it is 100% cotton so do I wash it and hope it shrinks up or am I forced to buy a smaller one...I am not very happy right now...well things are better..I gave my husband the robe and bought myself a fleece one...only problem terry cloth snags entirely too easy-..

This robe is awesome!! I ordered the XL/2X and as a 18W woman it is exactly as I wanted it! The robe is, honestly, too big for me but I love the feeling of being wrapped in absolute comfort when I'm lounging or straight after a shower. The terry loops do snag easily (think dog paws!) but it doesn't deter me from going from work clothes to this robe as soon as I get home in the evening. The double belt loops are ingenious as most of the time, robe loops are too high for my torso and I feel like I'm tying the robe below my boobs! This robe gives me another set of loops to run the belt through and I finally have a robe the fits me the way I want. I will say that the length is pretty long. I am 5'7 and step on this robe if I don't pull the material up and belt it in place. No complaints, though, as when I am sitting down the length covers my feet and keeps them toasty warm. Buy this robe - I promise you will NOT be disappointed! If Del Rossa had a commercial for this bathrobe I would beg to be in it to give more rave reviews haha!

I love the color, however, the sizing is really off. I am 5' 4", 150 pounds and it fits well, for the most part. It is quite long, an inch shorter would be better for me, personally. The fabric is not what I expected-it's kinda of a loose weave...have washed it twice and could not believe the amount of lint in the dryer! It is nice and warm, which is perfect for the Pacific Northwest. The sleeves cuffs are tacked to maintain the cuff as the fabric is too loose to hold that cuff. I am not one to order clothing online for this exact reason-I prefer to be able to feel it before considering purchasing it. I have a few things that I refused to pay the return shipping...I am not sure I would have bought this if I had seen it in person, but have been looking for a replacement robe for months and finally bought this one. It also snags easily on anything...again, the fabric was woven too loosely.I've now had this for a couple of months and would return it if I could...the elbows are already turning white, the stray strands are becoming bothersome, it doesn't slide on and off clothing very easily...I have to fight to get it on and off over pj's...No, I would not suggest this one.

I had such a difficult time trying to find on Amazon a Turkish robe that was in my size according to the charts, I think most of the sizes I wanted were gone due to holiday shopping. I came across this one and they had this color only in a small/medium so I scooped it up. My old robe was getting a little worn and was made of fleece and with our low humidity cold air in the high desert along with the winds, I was tired of getting shocked touching anything metal or even touching the pets because the static shock scared them too much. Anyway, I read tons of reviews and was concerned about fraying of the terrycloth after washing, etc. Well this came in perfect condition although it did have a chemical odor to it from being packaged in a plastic bag and I'm sure it is from the processing of the item at the manufacturing plant. I always was new items before wearing anyway, and I just took it out of the dryer and it looks great, feels great and most importantly, fits great. The sleeves are long and aren't too wide at the wrist like my old one which always got wet if I was doing dishes or anything of that nature. I would highly recommend to anyone. It is heavy weight without being too heavy too.

This is the last stop for this thick piled terry robe. I ordered 2 sizes larger for comfort. Good purchase if you are looking for a comfortable and absorbent robe.

Love it live it..very pretty comfy fits great I got royal blue..navy. Great purchase. Absorbs water too after a shower etc.
