Donât wear on bare skin!

The material and weight are exactly what I was looking for, but everything else about the robe is unfortunate and way overpriced. The robe ties are way too long, longer than the actual robe even when theyâre tied around the waist. Theyâre also heavy, which makes handling them really awkward. The ties are sewn in, which is nice, but the back of the robe has elastic sewn in where the ties would sit. The elastic hem is so uncomfortable against the skin that I canât bring myself to wear this as a bath robe, which was the whole reason I bought this thing. After 10 minutes, my skin was red where it was rubbing on my back. This robe could be greatly improved with the removal of that hem, all it seems to be doing is adding a pleat pattern, the material itself is stretchy so it doesnât need the uncomfortable lining to tie the robe tighter.
