Didn't expect it to be so heavy and fleece-lined; fit was a bit matronly

I was looking for a lightweight robe I could travel with, but I also wanted it to be absorbent terry cloth. These are hard to find - either you get giant Turkish cotton spa robes (nice at home, especially if you have a large capacity washing machine) or thin non-absorbent robes. I ordered this in XL based on reviewer comments but a large would have been big enough for sure (I'm 14/16 in clothes, and 5'9 in height). I felt like I was swimming in it. Even worse, the robe is FLEECE lined, which was not in the description at time of purchase. I wanted a lightweight robe for summer use. This is not a robe I can imagine wearing in the summer - while the terry is thin, the fleece is normal thickness. I get hot just looking at this robe. It's rather heavy as well, and something you'd really need to pack down to travel with.I ended up giving this to a friend who lives in a colder climate. My quest for a short (but not too short), lightweight terry robe that isn't too matronly continues.

I got this for my sister and it's spot on. The color is just as pictured, length is perfect for her (knee length), and the light-weight material is exactly what she wanted. This is a good robe to wear just out of the shower. Very cute. It arrived very quickly as well. I would recommend this item. Thanks for reading!

This is my 3rd Natori Nirvana robe. They are amazing! Light weight enough to wear year round but warm too. I've been very pleased.
