Bought this to wear after a surgery it wasn't too bad looking but I wasn't worried about that after surgery it worked extremely well for my needs I wasn't even made to change into a hospital gown to have the doctor check me. 4 stars is because the fit was too small through the knee section I believe a house coat should fit loosely
this wound up being PERFECT for her

Purchased for a friend who had a double mastectomy with reconstructive surgery and needed something loose fitting with a snap front with...this wound up being PERFECT for her.
Update: Even after re-sewing, this is still garbage

I rarely write bad reviews. But when I took this out of the package, the stitching was unraveled around the ruffle. But rather than hassle with returning it, I just removed the ruffle and restitched the seam. But before I could try it on, two of the snaps fell off. And since the snaps were an unusual size (tiny), I had to pry off the rest and replace them ALL with better snaps. The fit is lousy, too. The garment is the same width at the top as at the bottom. Like a pillow case with armholes. I am not obese, but I had to slit it to be able to walk. A house dress should have an A-line fit, meaning a little flared at the bottom to allow easier movement and easier use of the front pockets. The only plus is that the fabric is soft and doesn't wrinkle. But unless you sew and want to remake this, look elsewhere.UPDATE: Even after altering, this is unwearable and the worst garment I have ever purchased. I won't even donate it to Goodwill, because anyone who buys this would be wasting money. Can't believe Amazon is still selling this product.
Snaps wonât stay closed, so not recommend

Love this daygown only issue is that the snaps on it do not stay snapped! They continuously open. So I do not recommend this gown unless you can change snaps or want to pin it closed!
Rough

I bought this housecoat because I was having surgery and needed clothing to be put on and taken off easily. The housecoat is cute, but it needed to be soaked, for hours in fabric softener to get to the point of being somewhat nice feeling. Would be better if the material was soft.
Gown runs small.

The garment is well constructed, fabric is very light and therefore rather sheer. You would need to wear a slip for opaqueness, which defeats the purpose of a lightweight garment.
Pretty design

I like the fabric design. Snaps are very weak. Fits well.
Too small and straight

Runs small and really narrow. Cut too straight, not meant for curves. Material wasn't very soft either.
