This dress was perfect. I used it as my wedding dress. It's hard to tell from the pic, but it is the off white color. I'm 6 ft. Tall and it was the perfect length. Ran true to size, was lightweight and perfect for a hot and humid evening.

I find this dress surprisingly pretty. I ordered the "Cream", which is almost white. I was put off at first by the shiny lace, as other reviewers have mentioned. The lace is soft and stretchy, and the lining is really soft and comfortable. I wear a 12/14 US, and ordered the 14. I already knew that a UK 18 is equivalent to a US 14, from dealing with other brands. The fit was exactly true to a US 14. I'm 5'1", so it is nearly ankle-length on me. The hem edge is scalloped, so hemming isn't a possibility. I really love the neckline. Having an illusion neck for coverage, with a sweetheart neck for the lining, gives a pretty, flattering effect. I really like the sleeve length. It is long enough to give some coverage, without looking "dowdy". If you have a perfect figure, you could size down for a "body con" look. . Otherwise, expect a true fit. I weigh 125, but prefer to wear dresses that skim over my imperfections. I think this dress would be stunning in black, and I may order another!

Bought this dress after reading reviews I ordered a size up it fits nice the only down fall is the length of the dress. I'm 5 6 and it come way down past my knees. Gonna take to seamstress and have it shorter to just above the knee. Very comfy and flattering I bought the black.

I probably will be using this as my wedding dress but, instead of the traditional white color, (which tends to show 'everything'), I opted for a wild lavender color (labeled purple). I found the perfect silk bouquet to match the color of the dress.The positives are;1. The dress came 3 weeks before expected delivery date.2. The dress, contrary to one poster's review, has soft lace and a comfortable under backing.3. The dress is stretchy and DOESN'T have zippers, buttons, hooks, etc. It simply slips over your head easily.4. The dress is well worth the cost.5. It appears well made without loose threads, clumping at seams or any sewing defects.6. It comes in a large variety of colors.Cons;1. UK sizing is a bit iffy. There is a conversion chart to get to US sizes but some posters have stated that they may not be true to size. Also, this is a "big girl's dress", made for those of us who have a bit extra.Skinny girls would not look good in this dress nor like the "hang" of it and should not order it.2. The most disturbing, in my case, is that the shade of the purple color I ordered is about 4 shades darker than what was pictured on Amazon. It appears on the screen to be a lilac color and what I received is a dark purple. I was so disappointed, as I had matched the colors of the flowers in the bouquet to the dress. I suppose it will still work-just a different look.3. It is my fault for having lost weight recently and still ordering the size I "would have" taken but I was scared that I'd get a dress that was too tight or that I looked "poured into". Better it's a bit too big. I can always take a tuck or a seam or use a belt.It's not worth sending it back if "my" color isn't available. It's still a nice dress for the money.P.S. Hubby says that the color of the dress has to do with the lighting when they took the photo. Well, there must have been a nuclear bomb go off right when they snapped the photo to lighten the shade that much! Please tell me what you think. Maybe I'm colorblind!
A little shorter than I expected

The dress arrived earlier than expected, which was great. My only down side for the dress is that it's a little shorter than I expected for my 5'11 height. Overall, very nice dress.

This dress is amazing. I got a size larger as things font always fit, however the next size up was rather roomy. It's absolutely beautiful and comfortable, wore itfor xmas staff meal, everyone commented how beautiful it was, ended up sending links to many people. Definitley recommended, especially for the price would have paid more it's that good quality. Delivery was fast too.

Very cheap and nasty material, static and nasty feeling. Too big in some areas and clingy in others. Had to return (minus postage and return postage ant my expense, unfair as only returning because the quality was horrendous!) should be lovely but sadly, really poor quality.

Love this dress. As a plus size CD, it can be hard to find the styles of dresses I like in my size. I hope this manufacturer puts the other colors out in 5x. A slightly longer hem, or "tall size" would be nice, but I would be happy with a few more colors in my wardrobe.

Beautiful dress, just not a beautiful body wearing it! Iâm usually a size 22 so ordered the size 22/24. I got it on but it was too snug around the tummy and hips so Iâve returned and ordered the next size.

Very disappointed, the dress was too long and too small. I usually take a 16 I ordered an 18 and it was very tight all over. I tried to return it but didnot get any reply to my request for a returns label instructed as to do . Ended up giving it to nieces for dressing up. Would not buy from this company again.

Plus size? Says who? I'm not plus size, just a short 5'4", 140 lbs lady. I purchased size 12, red and white. And I just had my one of those omg moments. This dress is beyond cute. It's stunning. Thumbs up for this seller. Please stick to this measurements. They're perfect.

Well impressed that ordered 2 more in different colours was sent one in wrong colour but decided to keep and reordered colour I wanted , so now have 4 dresses to go to, nice fit, nice soft material would recommend for the price excellent valve

Nice looking dress, fit is as expected, love the length as I'm in my late forties, don't want my various age spots and thread veins on show lol, so this item was Bob on in length for me, and as the fabric is stretchy is very comfortable, this is why I've awarded this item five stars, many thanks :-)
A Beautiful, Modest Cocktail Dress

I was so delighted to receive this beautiful red dress to use as a base for my La Muerte (from The Book of Life movie) cosplay for an upcoming convention. It fit as expected. The sizes were clearly listed and converted from U.S. sizing to U.K. sizing. (Take note that the sizes listed in U.K. sizes are a size bigger than U.S. sizing.) It fits comfortably and hits at the knee (I'm 5'4"), and the sleeves hit at my elbows.This is a perfect and modest cocktail dress for any occasion, and with it being red, it may turn heads too. I will also use this for special occasions in addition to my cosplay.Make sure you also wear a slip underneath.Edit: I wore it to my San-Japan convention and was pleased with it. Everyone thought my cosplay was a hit. When I wore my flower garland as a belt with safety pins to keep it in place, I did notice that the flowers frayed the lace where they sat on my dress, and the safety pins got caught in the lace, so I had to cut some threads out to get the safety pins out.It also washed it in the washing machine and put it on the dryer on low heat and it's ok. I just need to shave off the rough parts where the flowers frayed it a little.(here's a picture of me wearing it as my La Muerte cosplay.)

I love this dress, unfortunately i took notice of all the reviews that said order a size bigger and its huge on me!!!! But i am going to alter it to fit when i get a chance. It is a lovely dress though and i am gutted it doesn't fit as i ordered it for my daughters wedding. I didn't send it back because i know i can alter it. I have to say again it is a very nice dress!!!!!!!!

I ordered one size larger than I usually would. It was comfortable fabric, just showed up every lump and bump (on me!) so I would have needed a larger size again. The blue was very vibrant!

I am a size 16/18 so i ordered the 18 and when it came you could of got 2 of me in there it was huge so i reorederd in a size 14 and it fits perfectly very happy with the new size and very well made for the price

This dress looks OK but the neckline doesn't suit me as it is too high. As I'm quite handy with a needle I shall alter it to make it look better. It is good value for money so don't mind having to tweak it a bit.

Lovely dress for night out or funeral. Am 18/20 but previously took size 22 in a blue. Gave to my friend but dress was too roomy. Just picked 20 ideal size. Great value.
