I am 5'8 160 size 10. I ordered the XL because I read that they ran small. The Large felt too short for my comfort. There is a slip cut to the angled detail of the dress. It bunched a little at the arm pits since I'm not a true XL but I preferred this fit. I would buy from this seller again anytime.

LOVE it, SO pretty & sparkly!!! It was the perfect choice for a âGreat Gatsbyâ themed event. Material is excellent quality & the sequins/jewels were in great condition. Bought this for our 13 year old daughter so it was a little big which I expected when I bought it considering itâs an adult dress. But, it was a simple fix by altering the shoulders to pull it up higher then it was a perfect fit. She is about 5â 2â & weighs about 110 lbs & I bought the smallest size so I hope that helps. Ich habe mir dieses Kleid gekauft für ein Krimidinner der 20er Jahre.Er kam gut an. Ist sehr schön zu tragen und kratzt nicht.Die Paietten sind gut verarbeitet.

I'm 5'7" and 215 lbs and got an xl. Its awfully tight but still wearbalr except for the bottom in the back, just...that's a full butt there. Thankfully I was wearing it to a Harry Potter party and had robes on over it so it wasn't a big deal. I cannot stress this enough. It will expose you're ENTIRE butt. The fabric is cut at angles at the bottom and there's just a triangle missing where your but goes. I could see if there was a much larger size it might work for a larger girl, however as is right now if your skinny but have hips or a butt I would probably size up. Definitely designed for the stick ladies of the flapper era. The bead work and design are really beautiful and the beads by the armpit did not cut in and scratch up my skin there so it deserves 2 stars at least. I've uploaded a picture of it on to sort of show where the dress hits at (sorry no back pictures), it seems longer than it is because of the fringe.

I originally ordered another dress, without fringe, by Babeyond (which cost $23). I changed my mind and decided I wanted one with fringe as it was for a Party Like Gatsby event. It was so much to fun to feel the fringe moving as I danced so I'm really glad I ordered this dress, even though it was higher priced at $40. I read tons of reviews and decided to order this in size medium because I wanted a slightly looser fit. For reference, I'm 5'4", 125 lbs and usually wear a size 4 or small. The first dress I ordered was also a medium and did fit slightly loose, so I thought this would be the same. Even though both dresses were by Babeyond, I would say this dress runs on the small side. Unfortunately, it was not loose, but instead fit just right. I have a slight stomach pooch and had to remember to "suck it in" so I think I would have been uncomfortable in a small. Although the inner slip is stretchy, the dress overlay is not and the slip is only attached to the bottom of the dress on the sides. There is a little give to the dress if you have a larger chest. The dress survived a night of dancing and activity very well. In lieu of a bra, I usually wear a camisole with a shelf bra. I wore the camisole with a pair of very short spandex shorts so I felt very comfortable under the dress. I did notice a loose thread when I took the dress off, but nothing broke off and otherwise it was fine. There is a side zipper and it slips easily over your head. The only "issue" might be going to the ladies room because of the fringe. Just be extra careful and check the back of the dress in the mirror as the fringe and slip can easily get caught up. The dress comes in a zippered bag so it can be easily stored. Also, this was a very popular dress. I saw multiple women in the same dress. FYI, I wore a pair of long black gloves, which really added to the look, but eventually took them off as I got tired of putting them on and taking then off because they were not cell phone friendly!

I LOVE this red dress (the red really pops in photos even though on the hanger it looked more black than I expected). I read a ton of reviews before buying because I couldnât understand how it was so affordable. But itâs really nice and flattering. My friend got several dress options, another brand but somewhat similar dress, through Amazon and felt they were all too baggy. Got a ton of compliments. BE AWARE - the sequins at the on the bodice are almost purple, they are not all black. At first I didnât like it but ended up looking great in photos. Iâm 5â6â with a 28â waist.

Love this dress! The numerous amount of sequins and beads makes this dress fabulous and fun to wear! I wore it to a 1920s party. I'm 5'2" and about 125 lbs. I ordered a medium and a small. I kept the medium because I wanted a little more swing in the dress, ala flapper style. I did tack up the shoulder straps to reduce the slight underarm gap, and I also trimmed about 3.5 inches off the fringe to suit my petite height better...these modifications were pretty simple and actually improved the overall fit for my body type. The fringe was originally about 9.5 inches but the dress and slip underneath are pretty short...so because of my height, the length after trimming the fringe was perfect! The dress has some stretch, as others have mentioned, so it fits most body types well. A great dress and quite well-made for the price! No loss of sequins or fringe the whole evening. Would definitely recommend!!

Pleased with this dress. The design is really pretty and I love the colour. I've got a curvier bottom half so the size that comfortably fit my bum was a touch large around my arms, but it looked good anyway. I've knocked a star off because there was some loose beading and some of the fringe was odd lengths.

Beautiful unique dress perfect for 1920s themed party although would quite happily wear for a normal event.The sizing does come up small I am a size 16 and the xxl was a good fit.

Very Happy. Fits perfectly. I bought this for a Gatsby Christmas themed Christmas party and it looks great. The sizing was accurate for me as I am a 12 on top and a 10 round the hips and waist. so the 10-12 fitted just fine. The dress does stretch so should fit a 12 as well as a 10.

Oh my goodness, I'm so excited to wear this beautiful dress. I am a 12/14 and ordered Large. It fits really nicely. I'm of to a speak easy themed hotel and won't care if I am the only one dressed for the occasion. I will try to find more reasons to wear this dress. Absolute bargain. The dress it's self is beautiful and felt like good quality. It's very fitted and it did look great, however for a flapper dress I think it looked more like an evening cocktail dress which is nice if that's what you wanted. I think a gatsby dress should not be figure hugging and therefore should not be described as a flapper. dress. (Just my opinion). The only other issue was that the under arm came right up to my arm pit so unless you like the feel of sequins and material rubbing the inside of the top of your arm then get a bigger size. I have given it 4stars because it is a Beautiful dress tho and would have been worth the money if a figure hugging dress was was what I wanted.

Looks great. Was worried it would be tacky but looks great on. Stretchyish marerial meant I didn't need to undo zip to put it on. Right length. Looking forward to the 20s party I'm attending. I'd recommend the dress.

This dress is gorgeous. Heavy due to beading.....hangs lovely. A little big under the arms but nothing that cannot be sorted with a descreet stitch! I bought a medium and am usually a 10-12. Wanted to make sure it fit across the bust. Would recommend.

Beautiful dress and turned up really quickly. Looks amazing when it's on, I bought it for a Peaky Blinders night at the Black Country Museum. Only downside was that a couple of the hanging tassel bits on the bottom of the dress fell off on the first use.

I was looking for a dress for last year Christmas Party (Business - Luxury party) This dress fitted perfectly, I looked amazing and got so many compliments. When I said to my co-workers the price - they couldn't believe it. Hands down on of the best dress purchases I've ever done. Btw. My initial budget was around 150% more than the price of this dress.

Brilliant fit, Iâm a size 8-10 and I got a small as it said it fits a 8-10, so really pleased with that! The quality is lovely, loads of beads - itâs really heavy! Which normally means expensive but this is a fair price I think.

Arrived quickly and was better quality then I expected, perfect apart from some loose threads, but those were easily fixed. It has some weight to it so didn't ride up at all. I'm a UK 8/10, 5'8", ordered the S, fit just right, not too tight but still fairly form fitting, came to just above the knee with the tassels reaching my calves. Wore it to a 1920s night out, was definitely under the best dressed of the night and the dress survived the club no problem. :)
