I ordered this for as vintage 50's theme birthday dress. A large fit my measurements perfectly(39-34-44). A quick iron press before I wore it and it was ready to go. I'm in love and will surely be ordering more in different colors for other occasions.

I am a 40-42DD weighing in at about 220. I normally wear a 16-20 size pants and an XL top. I ordered the 3xl after reading the sizes run small in several reviews. Even one that said I shouldn't buy this dress because I weigh more than 200lbs. LET ME JUST TELL YOU! How wrong that is! I tried this dress on without unzipping it and pulled it over my head. The fabric is stretchy in the back and it fits comfortably with room to move and no fat overlap from the seam! I didn't wear a bra because I was too lazy to put one on...and my boobs still look incredible! The bustline is tight enough but not too tight to hold my big ol bittys in place and still look great! The length is just below the knee. It came out of the package smelling very factoryish but nothing a good wash can't fix! I will certainly be buying more of these dresses in the future!!!

I received this dress in a size 3x Iâm 5â3/ 226 pounds measurements Waist:34 inch Hips: 50 inch Bust: 37 inch The material is cheap looking and the top was a bit loose for me I would of been ok with a 2x. I sent the dress back because I didnât like the way it look on me. But hope this can help someone who is around the same size as me !!
If you are bigger than 1x, 200lb, or top-heavy or busty - do not order this!!!

Dress is pretty but I do not recommend to anyone weighing over 200 pounds, especially is you are busty or top heavy. The bust is very restricting and the cute tan "bust cover" is very small and made for someone with A or B cups. If your bust is bigger than that, your bra will spill over on top, (this is a cleavage-showing dress) and your bust will be 'cut in half' so to speak, and very unflattering-ly-like. With the dress floral print covering the lower half of your bust, making you look awkward. Also, the seam are not very strong. I put this dress on, thought it would fit, once it was in, *boop* the seam ripped all the way down the dress de-tatching from the zipper. The dress is short and I'd say about top of the thigh. You can not wear this and be modest and you can not wear this on a windy day. Also, it makes you look pregnant with the waist-line being right under the bust. Do not think about ordering this unless you are a 1x true US size or under. Would recommend 1x purchasers to purchase a 4 or 5x. It runs small - I'd say about 3 sizes small. The dress I put on is more like a 1x and I ordered a 5x. Oh well...maybe I will get it repaired and some more room added so I can wear it...it's pretty, but to be honest, if I knew I had to find a seamstress when I ordered this, I would have spent my money elsewhere. Material is not thin, on the upside it is not see through. Nice, just a little stretchy, starchy fabric.

If you are a true 3X it fits like an XL. Being that my bra size is 42C, this didn't zip all the way up. That's my own fault for not reading the size chart properly.However, the material does not feel very soft and the stitching is not reinforced. This is not a dress I would spend over $25 for because of the craftsmanship and material not appearing to be the highest quality. I would not recommend general washer-washing and DO NOT DRY THIS DRESS because of that, and may be worth dry cleaning to prevent excess wear-and-tear on the material- it feels stiff and brittle, and not very comfortable.The most CRITICAL of feedback:Though, this style of dress is NOT made for those with a bigger chest. The way the fabric pattern is joined at the bust makes the appearance of the top hit-or-miss, even if this dress would have fit. The bust and bodice of this dress is not going to be flattering for anyone over a C cup (NOT including band size- just cup volume alone). If the "girls" do not rest properly in that tied area it will look like the dress is too tight all-around, so be aware that the fit of the top is EVERYTHING, which will make or break this style of dress on anyone.

I took my measurements the day I ordered the dress to be sure I ordered the appropriate size. I was in between sizes so because I read the reviews prior to purchase I sized down knowing it ran a little big. A little big doesn't even begin to cover the roominess of this dress. I could quite literally take it in by 3" and still not feel like it fit super well.Add to that, the fabric is very thin, not at all like a vintage rockabilly dress should be. It's more like a costume material. The blue inset fabric is a shade or three off of the blue on the patterned fabric and it's just a very cheaply made costume from China....overall I'm very disappointed in this dress and am glad I still have 3 days to shop for the wedding this weekend.
