Perfect fit for me

Thank goodness for Amazon Prime. I am not proud to say I waited to the last minute to get a dress to wear to my nephew's rehearsal dinner. I've been busy! Luckily this dress was a perfect fit and on the plus side...it has pockets. I went by the size chart and it was on point. I got so many complements on this dress. The bodice is lined which was pleasantly surprising. In my opinion, for the money, it is a good quality garment. For my body type I find the "vintage" inspired dresses fit me best. I am what people call a "pear shape". I would recommend this dress. You can dress this up or down. I have added photos of the dress after it was worn to the rehearsal dinner so the dress it a little wrinkled. I did find the bust portion of the dress hard to iron to make the front pleats look good, but that is my ironing skills not the dresses fault. I will have it professionally ironed for future occasions.

The material is shinier than it looks in the photo, which makes the dress much dressier than I expected. it's got a gorgeous neckline, but there was so much extra space in the bust area that I could have carried my pocketbook in there. I'm 5'7" and 140 lb; usually wear an 8-10 in dresses, so I ordered a large. It was too big in the chest/bust, waist, and length. But it really is very pretty, so I'm sending it back for a medium instead. Note: it arrived extremely creased and wrinkled. Doesn't look like it would hang dry smoothly, so expect to spend plenty of time ironing the extremely voluminous skirt before wearing. And when I said "old-fashioned style," I mean it looks like something Donna Reed would have worn in the 1950s...but in certain settings, that's not a bad thing.

This dress is outstanding! I needed a cocktail dress for an event I was working through and this fit the bill on many levels. I got so many compliments on it it was unreal. It has DEEP pockets so I was able to walk around with 2 phones, a memory stick, business cards, and pens on me while looking competent and magical. It is 95% cotton so I was able to press and starch it and it looked great all night. The only con is that it is a bit low cut - I am a 38 D and it was fine if a bit bold but someone who is larger on top might need more coverage.

The material is very nice and the dress is beautiful, however, you will have to iron it, as it is very wrinkled. Also order a size larger. The dress fit beautifully when it arrived. But after 1 washed it, in cold water as instructed, it shrank...a lot. I about never got it zipped up. All that said, I had nothing but great compliments on it when I wore it to a Christmas musical at my friends church.

I love the fabric! It's not the cheap ugly crap that is mostly sold on here. It took me two months to find something perfect for me. It was a little big but that's my fault. I'm loosing weight and should of thought ahead. But besides my mistake its absolutely worth it!! Its gorgeous I'll be ordering another one here soon! I am a medium and I ordered a large. I'm 5'2 and 145 pounds.Thank you!

Dress was exactly as pictured. Material is a thicker, firm cotton. There is no give in the fabric. I returned it because it didnât fit my body type that well but would have loved to have kept it. Will maybe purchase again if I tone up and need to go to another cocktail party. Iâm 5â, 149lbs, 34b. The chest area was a bit big but not so much that it wouldâve looked odd. I have a mommy tummy so the waistline and rib cage were snug and made me look like I had back boobs. I blame my body, not the dress.

I wear a 12/14 in dresses but ordered the XL to be safe and Iâm glad I did. It fits snug (which I like!) much lighter material than I was thinking so it wonât weigh you down. Love the color POCKETS does cut a bit low for my personal cleavage comfort but easy enough to fixUPDATEI am changing my review from five stars to four stars because it is impossible to get wrinkle free. Neither ironing or steaming it has been able to get it smoothed out. Still a pretty dress that was perfect for my engagement photos but if youâre needing something that can be completely smooth, you might be disappointed

First Iâll start off with definitely use the measureibg chart. The dress was the color I expected and the fit is just right. Itâs comfy without being too roomy and itâs a great fabric. I normally shy away from buying clothes online, but this was for a cosplay Iâm doing. I love this dress and as I said definitely use the size chart I did and it helped so much. Very happy with this and might end up buying one in another color later.
