Feminine and fun summer dress!

I love this dress!! It made me feel like a princess and I received a lot of nice compliments while wearing it. I got this dress in yellow in a size small. I'm 5'6 and weigh 125 lbs. The dress is a pretty sun dress without a petticoat underneath. (which is not included) I put one on and it turned into a great tea party dress! If you don't want to wear the petticoat, I would recommend a slip underneath for the lighter colors. The material is a nice cotton with a slight bit of stretch. The shoulder bows and the waist sash are not attached and can be taken off. I would definitely recommend this dress if you want to wear something bright and feminine!

Amazing dress!! I am 5'10 200 lbs and a US size 14. 40DD, which is important as the bodice was perfect which is unusual. Dress looks like it was made for me. the dress hits right at the knees and I got the black petticoat to go with. Perfect!!! Can be dressed up or down. The material is light but dense at the same time very flattering hides some of the extra curves that are not wanted, big plus!!

Really beautiful dress, but it is not a true circle skirt

I ordered this dress in an XS for my daughter. She wears a size 2, 32D, is 5’ tall and weighs approx. 100 lbs, The bodice was loose on her, but only in that it created a slightly blousy appearance. It looked gorgeous on her, but for sizing purposes someone a little taller and heavier than she could still wear the same size but the bodice would be a little more fitted. Contrary to what other reviewers have reported, the skirt is not a true circle skirt. It is very full A-line skirt. This is important if you are planning to wear multiple crinoline skirts under it because, quite simply, you can’t. My daughter wore two three-layer crinolines underneath it, and the skirt was full enough to accommodate them, but it was not full enough to accommodate a third crinoline. When she put on the third crinoline, the skirt would no longer raise up and instead wrapped tightly around the crinolines creating a tightly packed bell shaped silhouette. We had been looking for a dress with a true circle skirt because we wanted to create a very poofy look (although this dress was so pretty on my daughter that we quickly forgave it), so hopefully this information is helpful to others.The fabric is a soft, cotton/poly blend with a tiny bit of horizontal stretch. It’s not super thick nor is it overly thin fabric. I’d say the density of the fabric is just right for the shape of the dress. The bodice is lined with a thin, synthetic blend fabric which is also soft and the skirt is unlined. I was concerned that it might look like a cheap dress based on the low price, but as soon as I saw it I was relieved. It doesn’t look cheap at all.The belt is unattached so you can tie it with the bow wherever you like. My daughter tied it to one side (the same as shown in the product pictures), but it also looks nice with the bow tied in the back if you’re looking for a dress with a simpler front.Rather than ironing this dress, we chose to steam it to remove the wrinkles from packaging. This type of fabric sometimes gets a shiny sheen to it when ironed, so I didn’t want to risk it. Therefore, although I cannot tell you how well it irons out, I can tell you it streams beautifully.Overall, we are both very pleased with this dress. I thought it was very flattering on my daughter as did she, and she said it was also very comfortable to wear. She received multiple compliments from complete strangers when she wore it, and that is really a testament to how flattering the dress is.I included a photo for reference. Yes, she is being goofy but that’s what teenagers do. :)

Alba: Compré el vestido azul de la talla S (uso una 36-38 en tiendas normales) y casi me venía bien de talla. Ahora vienen los problemas... El vestido parece el mono de un fontanero, tal cual. EL MISMO COLOR, la tela no se ve de calidad, parece la tela de un uniforme de trabajo, no tiene cuerpo, se queda doblada y fea, es más largo de las rodillas, el lazo no lo lleva cosido, sino que es una cinta plana por hacerlo tú mismo (por lo que se cae y se mueve, no se queda donde debería). Al mismo momento de verlo dentro de la bolsa ya sabía que me iba a arrepentir, no se parece nada al de la foto.Además, los lazos de los hombros son un par de nudos mal hechos y feos. Voy a tramitar ya mismo la devolución.

THE PERFECT RETRO swing dress! Feel like a princess!!!

I LOVE THIS DRESS!!! Very retro, rockabilly, beautiful!!! I bought the red for a Christmas party at work. Wore a matching red petticoat underneath to give it a ton of fluff. The petticoat stuck out a bit which is what I wanted (very lacy looking).The feedback from my coworkers was overwhelming! They all complimented how beautiful I looked and how the dress flowed. One of them called me "Christmas Barbie". =DThe dress is very high quality.... I'm rough on clothes and if the zipper stood up to me, it will withstand anyone. Great strong stitching, too. The little bows sat perfectly at the top of my shoulders. I have seen some reviews say the shoulders are too 'tall' and flop over; this can easily be remedied by wearing a padded bra (if you are small up top). I wore a strapless bra with double padding and it really helped to fill out the bust (I'm little tho!), and the shoulders did NOT sag.The dress itself was very easy to iron. I used the iron on LOW with high steam; after ironing the whole thing, I hung it up and used the steam setting again and just let the steam rise up the dress.The waist tie is awesome, too. Sturdy and did not collapse (sometimes bows just fall apart), I tied it like it is shown in the photo, at the side, but I think it would also look darling tied in the back.Do yourself a favor and get a petticoat for underneath it! I can see how this would be a perfect spring or summer dress without the petticoat (it'll just be a little longer with more flow), but if you want that true retro/swing look, get the petticoat!Posting some photos of me in the dress before our party. Very comfy and true to size. I ordered a SMALL --- I am 5 feet tall and 115 lbs. PERFECT fit. It has a little bit of stretch to it so if you wanted it to be a tad more form fitting you could size down a bit. I chose the SMALL (versus EXTRA SMALL) because I knew I was going to wear a heavily padded bra and the petticoat (I wanted a nice hourglass figure).I'm going to buy another dress in a summery pattern. So beautiful!

Ich habe dieses Kleid in 2 verschiedenen Farben für mich und meine Cousine bestellt. Grund war ein Faschingsball, den wir als Pin up Girls besuchen wollten.Wir waren unbeabsichtigt der Hingucker des Abends. Die Kleider sahen wirklich toll und überhaupt nicht billig aus.Mein Problem bei Kleidern ist üppiger Busen. Habe bei Konfektionsgröße S Körbchen D - da müsste ich oft zu Größe 40 greifen, die aber dann z.B. an der Hüfte viel zu weit wäre. Bei diesem Kleidermodell hat mir dennoch Gr. 36 / S wie angegossen gepasst.Konnte die Kleider auch problemlos bei 30°C waschen, lufttrocknen lassen und anschließend bügeln. Ich werde definitiv noch weitere Farben bestellen.Klare Kaufempfehlung

Ich liebe liebe liebe dieses Kleid! Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Outfit für eine Hochzeit als Gast im Vintage-Stil. Nach kurzer Suche bin ich beim Rockabilly-Style hängen geblieben. Nie im Leben hab ich daran gedacht, dass mir sowas steht, ich bin eher der Hosentyp. Ich also das Kleid bestellt und was soll ich sagen? Ich bin absolut begeistert! Die Passform ist einfach super, die Qualität des Materials auch, angenehm dünner Stoff, aber nicht billig wirkend. Ich trage oben rum eine 38, unten eher 40, das Kleid passt mir perfekt in Gr. M. Ich wollte das ganze dann natürlich toppen und habe mir noch einen Petticoat bestellt, Bolero ebenfalls für kühle Abende. Das Kleid sieht oder ohne Petticoat super aus, ohne dann eher als schönes Sommerkleid, siehe Fotos. Ich bin so begeistert und kann nur jeder Frau diesen Schnitt ans Herz legen, es schmeichelt der Figur und sieht einfach richtig weiblich aus. Das Kleid gibt es noch in vielen anderen Designs. Ich habe nach dieser Erfahrung richtig Bock drauf mir weitere Kleider zuzusehen, weil es einfach super aussieht und absolut bequem zu tragen ist. Ich hoffe meine Begeisterung kann man aus meiner Bewertung herauslesen. Ran ans Kleid!

I ordered in a 3xl. I’m 5’5” and 210lbs and wear a 40F bra size. Dress fit perfectly!! It’s slightly snug in the bust but in a comfortable way. I wore this to a wedding and got tons of compliments. It looks especially good with a crendelin petticoat underneath!

Passform ist gut. Habe Gr. M bestellt und es passt genau. Bin 1.70 groß und wiege ca. 66kg, auch eine etwas größere Oberweite passt rein ;-)Der passende Unterrock trägt sehr zu Optik bei, würd ich mir auf alle Fälle mitbestellen.Hoffe ich konnte euch mit meinen Angaben helfen.

Wie wir Frauen so sind, dachte ich schon ziemlich lange über den Kauf eines 50er Jahre - Kleides nach, weil ich sie schon immer ziemlich cool fand.Jetzt, zur Einschulung unseres kleinen Mannes, war es dann endlich soweit und die Bedenkzeit hatte ein Ende :)Kleid kam in angemessenem Beutelchen heute bei mir an, hat keinerlei Beschädigung oder Verarbeitungsfehler. Lediglich durch den Beutel ein wenig zerknittert, aber das ist ja bei den meisten Kleiderlieferungen so und lässt sich schnell beheben.Über den Versand kann ich nicht wirklich viel sagen, da ich Prime-Kundin bin und es somit am folgenden Tag schon bei mir ankam.Zur Passform: Ich bin 1,68 cm groß, wiege 85 kg und bestellte mir Größe XL - Passform super, weder zu groß und auch nicht zu klein. Die Träger des Kleides sind minimal zu lang, aber das stört nicht weiter.Länge des Kleides bei meiner Größe bis minimal über die Knie, für mich und dem Anlass entsprechend also genau das richtige.Preis - Leistungsverhältnis absolut top! Stoff fühlt sich gut auf der Haut an, sieht zudem relativ edel aus und die Farbe stimmt mit dem abgebildeten Foto überein.Von mir also klare Kaufempfehlung, ich liebe dieses Kleid und es sieht wirklich toll aus!!! :)

I thought that this dress was a bit overpriced at first but when I tried it on I was pleasantly surprised....it looks fabulous. I bought it for a red themed wedding and bought a netted underskirt to go with it. The dress looks truly beautiful without an underskirt but looks even more special with one (£5.99 from e-bay) I'm a size 10 and the dress really enhances my waist and small top. Buy it...you won't regret your purchase!

I took a chance on the size I ordered due to the reviews stating that the same size comes up as a different fit. Admittedly I need to lose a stone, so I ordered a Large. I don't know if it's my body but the dress fitted well in some places and badly in others - the back gaped and didn't sit flat against the back thus making the dress look too big, the waist was a little snug (no fault of the dress, just the fault of my greedy self) but it could have been warn quite comfortably. However, the under arms come up too high sitting right in the armpits, which is a particular hate of mine so I knocked off a star. I would have liked the scoop of the front to come down slightly lower. Other than that I'd say it's a really nice dress, good material and great price. When I lose my weight, I'd order this again and maybe in two different sizes, but for now it has been returned for a refund. The green is gorgeous. It looked good without the petticoat but I think it would look better with one.

I used this for an Audrey Hepburn theme party but will definitely use it again and probably buy in other colours as well - got lots of compliments on the dress; very flattering. I am quite short and thin but not at all flat chested; this dress was very flattering for me; I think it would work on lots of body types.

Hab dieses Kleid meiner Frau zum Geburtstag gekauft. Natürlich musste sie es vorher anprobieren, da die Größen sehr varieren zu anderen Kleidern. Wir haben L geholt, bei einer Größe von 176 und bei Konfektiongröße 42 und Körbchen E. Alles Sitzt und passt und bleibt da wo es soll. Die Verarbeitung gefällt sehr gut, auch wegen der Falten um Rockbereich und weil der Stoff sehr leicht ist.
