Elegant LBD

A black dress has to be really special for me to wear it. I much prefer color. This is a special dress. The lace has beautiful detail. The skirt is light and airy. The band at the waist really makes my waist look smaller.I purposely wore a pink bra to give you an idea of what type of bra you'll need for this dress. As for the fit, there's NO STRETCH, so you may need to size up if you're a larger cup size. I'm going to have my tailor add a little fabric to the side seams so I can close the back. Also, the sleeves may be tight if you have larger upper arms. For fit reference, I'm 5'6", 153lbs, and a 34G bra size.In summary, this is a gorgeous dress that will work for all of your special occasions.

Not Quite Sure About This

So, Amazon brand clothing is really hit or miss. Mostly misses for me and for the Truth & Fable Women's Midi Lace A-Line Dress the jury is still out. One problem I have is that I'm 5'10" and often these dresses are "shown with a model 5'11""; however, upon me putting this on the dress is no longer at the knee like on the model, but at mid thigh on me! Truth & Fable have been a better fit, but I'm still scared. So, I received a 10 when I usually wear size 8. I wish I had the size 8.I have to say first, the lace is very comfortable. It's not scratchy. And the sleeves are just right. For someone with long arms, that was my first concern. Now, here is where it gets interesting. I like things to fit properly. Just because it's on your body doesn't mean it fits. So, this fits slightly big on me. However, I think alterations could get complicated. I need a slight alteration on the bust, under the arms, and around the waist. Also, you cannot wear waist cinching undergarments with this because of the lace/crochet waist. They will show between the holes. No Spanx, girdle, control top pantyhose, nothing. I'm also going to complain about the length of the skirt. It appears to be tea length, but it's still bit too long for my taste. If this hit two or 3 inches below the knee this would be great, but it's mid calf (a true tea length not midi). And keep in mind I'm 5'10" so if you are shorter then this is going to be really long.Ultimately, I'm going to find an event to wear this to and make it work because I really do think it could be great, but I'm still on the fence.

Very elegant

It’s a very nice, delicate dress but I wish it would have fanned out more on the sides, as pictured in the description. It does flow nicely though and the lace makes it look very elegant. There is absolutely no give with this fabric though and it did feel a little tight in the chest and arm area, restricting movement by a little.

This dress is like WHOA!!!!TRUTH & FABLE HAS SOME REALLY GREAT CLOTHING.The material is soft and stretchy. Everything fits perfectly.I love the lace top on this dress.You really need to see for yourself how nice Truth & Fable clothes are.I love everything about this brand.It comes packaged really well too.And I don't know if it's just my nose but they smell good. I don't know how to explain it.It's nothing strong or even noticeable unless you shove your face in it like my weirdo self did.Smells clean and new (Geez we'd hope do right???) lol

This is a gorgeous black, lace dress by Truth & Fable! I was immediately drawn to it's intricate lace detail and flowy skirt. However, once I tried it on I realized it does no favors for my body type and fits awkwardly.It's a very pretty dress that would work well for a wedding reception or other formal gathering. I guess you just have to have a certain body type to pull it off.The material is soft, even the lace. It felt nice against my skin. Seems to be high quality though there's no stretch to the fabric at all, so you may want to size up on this.The price is ridiculous to me. It's a nice, elegant looking dress but it's not THAT nice. $80 seems over the top. I would hesitate to recommend this item at the current cost.

Lovely dress. Fits me well. I am an 8-10 and 5.4 and I chose a small. The red is a beautiful vibrant red. Nice over the knee length. The sleeves are a perfect length for me.I was unsure of the semi open back due to my bra but it doesn't show at all. I wore it with a multi way bra, with the straps on. It gave me a lower back to the bra.I would definitely consider buying again.

Für eine Hochzeit, wollte ich mal einen anderen Farbton als blau anziehen und gern auch mit Spitze... Schlussendlich wurde ich mit diesem Kleid fündig. Schöner Farbton! Qualität gefällt mir ebenfalls.Tolles Kleid. Die Spitze ist angenehm zu tragen. Die Spitze hat bei mir etwas Spiel und liegt nicht eng am Arm an. Dies fand ich zunächst nicht ganz so schön, allerdings neige ich dazu, lange Ärmel etwas hochzuziehen - dies war möglich :)Man kann sich im Kleid gut bewegen, es schwingt schön mit - allerdings: die Arme zum Paartanz nach oben, ist bei mir gerade noch möglich.Aufgrund meiner Größe von ca. 1,63 m ist es eher 7/8 Kleid. Meine normale Größe 38, passt auch hier. Das Oberteil schluckt ein wenig Volumen der Oberweite. Hatte einen hautfarbenen Body unter, mit PushUp - dadurch wurde die Illusion nicht verfälscht, dass das Kleid in der Taille Einsichten frei gibt (durchsichtig ist). Durch den Body, habe ich dennoch nicht gefroren. Hautfarbene Träger sind kaum unter der Spitze zu erkennen - muss somit kein trägerloser BH sein.Punkt Abzug, durch zwei Kleinigkeiten: Leichte Einschränkung in der Armbewegung nach oben. Außerdem steht es bei mir am Rücken etwas ab, je nachdem wie gerade ich stehe.Ich freue mich, das Kleid als Trauzeugin meiner besten Freundin nochmal tragen zu dürfen. Klare Kaufempfehlung, auch durch mehrmalige Komplimente von Familie und Freunden bestätigt. Habe mich einfach wohlgefühlt und dadurch gestrahlt.Ergänzung des Outfits:Haben bei Olymp eine passende Krawatte gefunden und in einem Drogeriemarkt einen sehr ähnlichen Farbton als Nagellack.

Dieses Kleid hat mir absolut den Tag gerettet! Wir haben sehr kurzfristig geplant und somit war es sehr schwer, noch ein schönes, passendes Hochzeitskleid zu finden. Aber hier wurde ich fündig! Ich wurde so oft auf mein schönes Kleid angesprochen, dass war schön zu hören! Und auch ich bin begeistert; die Qualität ist top für den Preis, man kann es normal waschen und auf Stufe 2 dampfbügeln (steht zwar Stufe 1, aber so gingen die Falten leider nicht raus, also mussten wir uns was trauen ;-)).

Dieses Kleid ist eigentlich wirklich schön, allerdings fällt es ziemlich klein aus. Ich trage normal M, aber in M habe ich es nicht zugekriegt. In L ging es dann zu, aber ich sah darin wirklich dick aus, weil die Lochstickerei meinen Bauch total betonte. Die Länge ist zudem für meine Größe von 1,68 m unvorteilhaft. Daher ging das Kleid zurück.

Perfektes Kleid für eine standesamtliche Trauung. Es wurde innerhalb von zwei Tagen geliefert, die Grösse passt und es ist, wie ich finde, schlicht und dank der Spitzenärmel und des Ausschnittes am Rücken doch ein bisschen raffiniert. Es trägt sich angenehm und die Spitze kratzt auch nicht. Bin echt happy mit diesem Kleid.

Kleid sieht super aus für den Preis. Ich habe es für meine standesamtliche Trauung angehabt. Absolut Klasse. Dazu die roten Tamaris-Hacken :-)
