This is a lovely dress and is perfect for a wedding. I bought a larger size based on reviews, and the dress fits well and is comfortable, except for the bust and shoulder area, which is a bit loose. I will need to find a matching bra to go with it to give it a more fitted look. Someone with a larger chest may not have this problem. I would definitely recommend this dress.. It is modern, yet classic, and very pretty.. I can't wait to wear it. The length is flattering, not too short or too long.

I purchased this dress for an upcoming wedding. I tried it on and love it! I am 59 years old, approximately 155 lbs., 5'8 or 9 and a 34dd. I know some reviewers said it could be worn without a bra, but I have a dark blue one and it is inconspicuous. The dress is very comfortable and true to size (10). It falls to a little above my knee.
I was given so many compliments and it was comfortable. I felt classy

I wore this as mother of the bride. I was given so many compliments and it was comfortable. I felt classy. I am 5'5 and weigh 155. I would highly recommend this dress. I wore a size 12 and it fit perfect.

Loved this dress! I am 5' and 115 lbs. Bought the US size 4. The dress is form fitting on me and fell just above my knees. Padded bust allowed for wearing with no bra if you are a "C/D". It was still comfortable after a very large steakhouse dinner. Lace overlay is good quality and with very good weight. Not the light/sheer & delicate lace that you might find on some dresses. I would definitely recoomend the purchase.

Dress is beautifully made, was not heavy as some others have commented. It was of quality material. The color-stunning charcoal gray, with some hint of a slight shimmer of a deep purple/charcoal gray when in a certain light that only made the color more beautiful. Very pleased with the style- was for my 30 yr old daughter to wear at a fall formal evening wedding. Will be great for cocktail party, or New's Years also. Very classy.

I ordered 6 dresses because there were free returns. This dress I was able to get in sizes 4 and 6. I am 5'3", 105lbs and not curvy. It fit perfectly in size 4 with a padded bra. The dress is very flattering on and the friends who were helping me choose a dress for 'mother of the bride' which doesn't look like it is made for that event, all liked it best, though we agonized over the V neck beaded sheath in silver. The gunmetal grey colour has dark lavender undertones; very classy, and the lace is beautiful. I could easily where this dress on a cruise or to a New Year's party. There are two linings but I like a dress with a little bit of weight to it so not a problem for me. This is the one I kept!

I was concerned that this dress would be too short, as pictured with this model, but the length seemed OK in pictures of other models, so I took a chance. I am 5'6" and it comes just to the knee. Very good quality dress, and the fit is flattering. I ordered up 1 size and it fits well. It is a lovely dress for a formal occasion, and I don't think it is trendy or will go out of style, therefore good value for money. Can't wait to wear it to an upcoming wedding. I ordered Gunmetal, and the color is a dark shimmery grey with just a tinge of purple to warm up the color.
Order TWO sizes up!

This dress is beautiful and very well-made. Very pretty, deep pink color. Pink lining with lace overlay. Wish I could keep it - but it's WAY too small! I bought this to wear to my daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner. I ordered a size 12 because I also have a new mother-of-the-bride gown, also Adrianna Papell, also size 12, and it fits perfectly. There are similarities in the style, but the sizing is completely different. I will have to order 2 sizes up for this dress (a 16.) I am saying two sizes because it was a LOT smaller. In fact, I couldn't even attempt to zip it and briefly worried about needing a neighbor to help me out of it. Ha. As another person had noted, it seems to be more roomy in the bust/shoulders area than in the hips. I have a tummy, so spanks will be in order. Yet, the spanks won't need to be too industrial strength because the dress holds its own - i.e., its not flimsy or too stretchy - and it doesn't look tight because of the lace overlay. As soon as I can swallow my pride, I may reorder again: 2 sizes up.

This was the first Adrianna Pappell dress I have purchased -- I found it for a steal in one size larger than I usually wear. Many reviewers suggest this dress runs small. I am 5'5" and 135lbs, athletic build, 34C. I wear a size 4 in most designers but purchased in a 6 based on the reviews and other people's stats / size they ordered. It was too big -- boxy fit and gaped in some places. The material was a bit too stiff, reminding me of drapes. What is not apparent from the description is that this dress has a built in bra -- that part fit quite well and this dress could be worn comfortably without a bra.

I wore this dress to my bridal shower and received so many compliments! It is more of a tan/beige with a sheen than a champagne but is what I was hoping for.Make sure you measure and get the correct size as noted in the size chart, if I had sized down the dress would have been hard to sit in.

The dress was damaged when I received it, the lace is torn and frayed at the right hip. Only option is to return it so I will repair it myself. Would have appreciated a discount but had no option other than returning the dress. It'll be a great dress once it's repaired.

This is a beautifully designed and made dress. It is quite heavy in weight so may not be practical for summer or resort wear. I had to return it because even though I took careful measurements, it was a little big all over and far too much room in the tummy area.
