This dress is great! fit like a glove, I actually have the look as the model does in this picture with the dress on and I am in my mid 50's5'7" 145lb curvy figure and hour glassed, wasn't sure how the dress was going to work for me and you know a lot of us read this reviews looking for ones like mine that are asking the questions of: 1:) what is your size? 2:) what is your weight (your true weight ha-ha) 3:) how tall are you? 4:) Are you curvy or slim figured? 5:) are you apple bottomed or pear shaped or hour glassed?It really helps us out when others do these reviews. I have based my review on this. Number 1. This dress is total worth every penny!Number 2. I used the other reviews to buy my dress, I am so happy I did! Number 3. Patty's Customer Service is the BEST! Number 4. I bought a size large for myself. and last number 5. Loved this dress, I had to buy a size smaller because of the rouching on the sides...it kept sagging in the front and I wish there wasn't so much material. First ordered a medium (35"chest) but exchanged for a small which held better but still sagged. Got so many compliments and felt super sexy wearing this out. I had to keep adjusting the pleats so they'd sit better (as you can see in the photos). I think I'll have to take it to a seamstress to take in a few inches on the sides, which should hold the pleats up better. Otherwise great and comfortable.

This is my first Patty purchase and I am impressed! This dress is gorgeous. The fabric is lovely, it drapes incredibly well and the fit was spot on. I'm busty with narrow hips and can be hard to find clothes that fit just right. I ordered according to my bust size and everything else perfectly fell into place. The fabric is slinky and I worried that it would be too tight, but its just right. The rouching covers my slight tummy and gives a lovely but modest emphasis on my cleavage. with a push up bra this dress could easily be sizzling sexy! The color (purple) is elegant and rich. I will buy this dress in more colors and buy many more things from Patty. Shipping was faster than expected. I can't wait to wear it out tomorrow night!

I put this dress on and instantly fell in love! WOW, it hangs so beautifully, feels good, great color. Then I turned around. EGAD!!! It was awful. The front is gathered and hangs in a flattering manner, the back though, is one straight piece of stat-icky, spandexy, leaves nothing to the imagination, horror show. I'm in pretty good shape, 5'5'' 140lb runner, and ordered the medium, it was just too revealing of my backside shape, even with Spanx, too clingy. I'm not sure if a bigger size would be better or if the back was the same gathered edging as the front, or maybe even a darker color (I got red). So unless you are super confident in your booty, try a different dress.
If you want something sexy and you're in shape, this is the line for you.

This is the only PattyBoutik item I've ever bought (and I've bought a few) that is somewhat large, despite ordering the small. The length is somewhat too long, too (5'2, 110 lbs), but the real problem is that the sleeve holes are too big. I'm a 30DD, 35 inches in the chest, so I don't have problems filling out the bust, but you can't really do anything about the sleeve holes, which end up showing your bra a bit, other than try to cover them with your hair or get them altered. Still, a pretty dress, and I've received compliments on it. It DOES show the outline of your butt and stomach very clearly, a common trend in pattyboutik. I wouldn't recommend this line to anyone who isn't very comfortable in their skin and looking to flaunt their stuff a bit. If you want something sexy and you're in shape, though, this is the line for you.Edit: After washing a few times, the arm holes aren't as gaping, so I've adjusted my review and score accordingly.

I love pattyboutik but found this to be very thin material which made it look cheap. I will get use out of it for work etc so i would recommend to buy because it's good value for money.

Sexy, Wow, and Hot... Those were the first three words used by my husband when I tried this dress on straight out of the package yesterday. I emailed photo to neutral friend and his reaction was similar. That answers a bunch of questions instantly considering that I wasn't wearing any spanx or a push up bra with it! Later, when I put it back on with things a little more polished, the dress really became outstanding. I am going to be wearing this to a semi formal evening wedding. The ceremony is outside in the gardens with the reception indoors after. I need to look classic and still be cool outside.The drape at the neckline is exactly right for highlighting a single, elegant piece of jewelry, yet not revealing too much cleavage. The slight shirring along the waist and stomach is very flattering and sort of hides any little lumps or bumps without looking cheap. The fabric is soft and thin, but not see through in the black dress. The back is smooth, so you definitely want to get the size right, otherwise you'll end up looking great in front and bad in back.I am a size 8 in jeans and typically a medium in most tops, but with all Patty Boutique clothes, I order Large because I have a "D" chest. This is exactly right for this dress - it fits perfectly across my chest with no pulling or stretching and while it is a tad too big in the waist, that is ok. Because of the smooth backside, I can wear spanx and no one can see the lines from behind and I can dance, sit etc without looking like a reality tv wannabe.

I am 5'3" and weight 145 lbs. I ordered this dress at the very last minute for a wedding. I got it the day before and was happy I read the reviews. I purchased this going off the reviews. It was a little too loose on my waist but it was still perfect!I got compliments all evening on my dress. And I really love it.I really don't believe anyone could be disappointed in this dress! The material is great and it is great! I think anyone should be very satisfied with it no matter how big or small you are

Very disappointed in this dress ,it arrived this morning only ordered it yesterday. .It is very thin material, with no lining what so ever. .bought the one sholder dress ,with was pattyBoutik ..a year ago which was loads better ,better material and it had a lining, So a carnt say much about this dress not impressed. .and it was squeezed in to a small plastic bag ...

Love this dress - very simple but very sexy. Fits in all the right places and makes your figure look fab. I am a size UK 10 but ordered the medium so as it had a bit of give - but to be honest the small would have been just as good - highly recommended and the packaging as always from Patty is fantastic.

I loved this dress, it fits perfectly and looks really expensive. Because of the type of material you do need to wear invisible underwear but it looks fabulous on.

I was a bit dubious about buying a dress without seeing it but it seemed just what I was looking for as bridesmaids dresses. A very forgiving fit and good fabric in just the right colour. Have bought 3 for girls in late teens and twenties. Small size fitted UK sizes 6 - 10.
