I'm 180 lbs, 5'8" and a 36D but the XL was way too small for me & the XL is a 16-18!? I'm a solid 12-14 so I feel this dress is designed for a slightly slimmer figured woman with a slightly smaller bustline? As far as the style and quality they are rather lovely. The red color is truly a deep, dark red. Versatile for the holidays or any dressy to semi formal party (exception being a hot day) with a flare of fun and not over revealing. It just shows a tasteful, but still sexy amount of cleavage in my opinion. It's Fitted but fringe covers what you don't want seen. The only reason I can't give it a 5 is that there is no tag, at all, inside the dress to confirm the size, fabric content or washing instructions? It has a nice label tag hanging from the garment but no details. If you've got the right body type...go for it!

I am 5'2" and fluctuate weight rapidly, size 16 -18. I ordered XXL and it fit perfectly.

This dress is great for any costume-type event. We had a Gatsby inspired fundraiser and this was perfect. I would normally consider myself a size L. Ordered the XL and it is perfect. I don't think it's too low-cut. Love that it's below the knee and has sleeves. I ordered the green and am happy with the color and style.

I recently purchased this beautiful dress for a roaring 20s party. I'm 5' 2" 160 lbs, I initially ordered a large, it was tight. I returned it and got XL instead. The seller issued a prompt refund to my account. Both orders were delivered within 2 days. I'm very pleased with the dress and the customer service. Few of the tasstles came off but it was hardly noticeable as there are a lot of them sawn all over the dress. Thank you!

Fabulous Dress for Stage!

My female barbershop quartet wore these dresses for our competitions and we received many, many compliments on how the dress shows on stage. We ordered sizes S, L, XL, and XXL. Due to the stretch material underneath, these dresses are forgiving should one gain a little weight. The XXL's fringe in the bust area was too short...about 1/2 inch of under fabric was exposed. Even contacted the manufacturer about this and their suggestion was to re-order. I ended up buying at least 4 dresses to see if there were any that had the same length fringe, but ended up having a friend alter the dress for me. She even removed the side zipper as I never used it. Length alterations was easy -- simply cut off the bottom row. As you can see from the pic, we won our regional competition...certainly a very lucky dress!

I bought a larger size based on the reviews which mostly said "smaller than expected" and since I didn't have much time to futz around with returns and exchanges, figured bigger would be better. The item has "give" so even if I had purchased according to buy regular size I may have been okay in the body, but the sleeves were lace with little give and since my upper arms are chunky, I would not expect to fit a smaller size. The body seemed disproportionate to the bust, as this fit nicely, despite the fact that I don't have much up top... Its almost as if the dress is made up of several sizes... Anyway, get a larger size if you are worried about fit, and don't mind the extra wiggle room. They only other negative would be the tassles are strings (as advertised), I noticed throughout the night to find strings here and there, and later in my closet. So they "shed" a bit, but not enough to deter me from recommending. If I could do it all over, I would get the exact same dress/size... Perfect for the costume party and even as a "formal flapper" dress, especially suited for chunky girls like me.

I ordered this dress for a Gatsby themed holiday party. I was impressed by the price and was more impressed when it showed up. I loved it! I tried it on and my normal size was too tight. I returned it and got the next size up. It fit perfect! I did wear a black tank top under the dress since it cut a little low in the chest area for my liking. I am 5'10 and the dress went almost to my knees. I wore the dress for about 6 hours and it was incredibly comfortable. A few of the tassels would fall of here and there but it didn't affect the dress at all. Would recommend it!

Iâm a size 8-10 after read all reviews I ordered two different sizes S and M just in case and, size S fits me perfectly . It looks nice too and I really love it . Will order a red one when there are in stock.
