I'm 5'2, 165 lbs & I purchased a large. I needed a patriotic dress/outfit for my husbands work event. Let me tell you, it was a hit! The back was see through & did pop up a little more than the front. I'm thinking it's because of my butt. The top does have some bra pads in it & had I known I would have removed them, but they were no bother to me.

I absolutely loved this dress! It was perfect for my Merica' themed birthday party! Even had the kareoke bar chanting USA! Fit perfectly and was pretty comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

I am in love with this dress!! I'm 5'6, 118, 34B. The dress fit perfectly, however in the chest area it was a bit large and stuck out a bit under my armpits. Otherwise it was perfect! Definitely a bit seethrough in the back though.
It is sheer in the back though it has a double layer .. you can wear BLACK panties and itâll be fine

I love this dress! I couldn't find one that I liked the fit to for the 4th, but then I found this one. It looks amazing, and I am way excited to wear it on the fourth.It falls about mid thigh on me, the pictures do not give this dress justice because it really does not look unflattering at all. My only complaint, and the reason for 4 stars not 5, is the top is very loose. I'm a DD, and it still didn't hold my girls in place. I liked that the straps were adjustable, but since there are cups inside the dress, I feel like it should be a little more snug across the chest. Other than that thought, I love the dress, top notch quality.

I had ordered the large and it was too big in general, so I am returning it. I then ordered the medium, and it fit better through the waist and hips, though still a little big in the chest. I am 5'3", 130# and a D cup bra. The sequins are numerous and sparkly. Length is just above the knee on me. There isn't any built in bra or shelf bra, so that might be a consideration. Overall, I like the dress. I am planning on wearing it with leggings underneath, as the back is somewhat transparent(as noted by other comments).

The reviews weren't very clear on the fit so I ordered a large because I cannot often get my butt and thighs to fit in a medium or its too short when I try. Surprisingly a large was too big for me. The waist was loose, the bust was loose. I will say I'm a gal with a thin waist and my hips double in size. A medium would've fit me for this particular dress but i just put a safety pin through the back loops and connected the straps and it fit like a charm.For the dress itself....I LOVE IT. Exactly as pictured. Super sequiny. Might chafe under the arms if you wore it for an extensive period of time but other than that it was very comfortable, flexible, my friends and family loved it. The back was minimally see through so i wore a slip underneath it. Can't wait to wear it again next year for the 4th of July.

Do NOT recommend this item because of poor quality of location of bra cups. Absolutely INSANE! Cups are located pointing outward under your arms! WHAAAAT? If this item had a real bra sewn in it would be fine as the quality of the sequins is acceptable. With that being said, horizontal STRIPES do not make anyone look skinny...Unless you are already a size 0.

This is a lovely little dress, I think the plain back would have been better in dark blue rather than black but that's a small thing. Sequins are gorgeous and this dress will turn heads. I am going to wear it firstly for an american concert and then on holiday alongside my union jack dress as well. The back is very thin you need to wear a half slip under this, and I go braless because it has very thin straps. You may want a bra, but be aware it has pre-formed cups which I would have preferred not to have. This is generous in the cut I bought medium and as a 40DD Its the right size. I also bought an invisible half slip in nude and for me anyway that's more than sufficient to make it wearable. As you would expect this comes from the USA. ANA KASI are a great company, ditto this distributor they are using for the uk.

Nice enough but the chest has built in cups and if you don't fill it out.....it looks weird.

For the money this was excellent... was a bit of fun at my sisters emigration party!I had to wear a long jacket over it as it's not flattering at the back.. but wasn't an issue.
