I couldn't believe quality of this dress for the price. I purchased it as part of a costume and was surprised and pleased how nice it was. You could honestly wear this thing to a semi-formal event. The detail on this dress is beautiful - photos don't do it justice. Money well spent!

Perfect FBD (Flapper Black Dress) so comfortable and I took it right out of the bag, along with the 3 options and headed for my glam session. It was perfect with pearl necklace, and the tiara, bracelet set that's a lookalike of Daisy's in The Great Gatsby remake. I'm 5'1, 132lbs and wear 4-6. This M was loose but I didn't want tight. It's not costumey like I worried it would be. LOVED the whole night!

OMG beautiful! I am 4ft 10 and very curvy! 42 c bra etc! I was so worried because there were no reviews on this dress! I am wearing it to a 60th birthday party with a 1920's gatsby theme this winter and it fits like a glove ! It has a lot of give in the material and is beautifully made ! I wanted a sophisticated look ! I don't like too much big heavy design because I am short ! It is black beads on black with a pretty lace insert in the back ! It is very flattering on a full figure 61year old girl ! Can't wait to wear it ! I bought the XL ! Hope this review helps you decide!

As others have stated this dress runs a bit small so I ordered a size down and it was still big in the arm hole area. Easy fix. I took it to get altered and it turned out beautiful. I would wear this on a date night too. It's great quality and I'm very happy with my purchase. I would recommend.

Loved this Dress!I should have ordered a L instead of a XL but that is my own fault. However I had it altered and will say it came out amazing! I got a million compliments on it! It look great all night!
Classy 1920s But Not My Choice

I didn't care for the navy color. It was too dark and almost looked black. I just wanted a brighter blue. The fit was accurate. I'm a size 12/14. It's a straight stretchy dress so it will show rolls and bumps. If you wanna hide them, you'll need to wear shapewear underneath. This dress is not forgiving for pear shapes. It has a decent length for a flapper dress. Not a full length but came to the knees at least so you won't have to worry about your thighs popping out if that's a concern.

This would work in a pinch, or for a very costumey party. It was beautiful to look at, but not flattering AT ALL. I'm 5'7", usually a 2-6 depending on the brand, and ordered a Small. It was still somewhat baggy. The sweetheart neckline was very high, which made the chest area look as though it was dragging. The back bunched up in the mid/low back area in a way that didn't make any sense (like a pocket in the middle of your back). The fringe was falling apart slightly and certain strands hung at twice the length of the rest. I returned it. If you have the opportunity and want to spend the money to have it altered and fixed, I would imagine that it could be very beautiful. As it is, I felt frumpy and deformed wearing it, very self conscious and not because of my own figure. I chose to wear something else to my event and returned it.

Beautiful dress, good quality, and I absolutely loved it. It looked absolutely wonderful on and is very figure flattering. I am 5'5" and 130 lbs and a small frame. The dress fit snugly from below the bust and through the hips; however, the shoulder area was too large. The front comes to a point and I could not get it to center on me. It wanted to pull to the left. I live alone and did not realize that when I unzipped the dress to slip it on, the zipper pull would get lost behind the overlay. I had to take it off, zip it part way up, wriggle into the dress, pull it over my head and slowly zip it up in sections and then pull the dress down and settle it. The zipper pull is tiny (dime length and skinny) and there was no hole to slip a hook through to zip it up that way. The underfabric is stretchy as is the overlay and it matches the cut of the hem very well. Wonderful dress but the shoulders were simply too big. I am returning it and giving it 4 stars because of the shoulders.
