I needed a dress for my son's wedding in October and felt the choices were too limited in my hometown. Plus size formals can be so matronly looking and I am far from matronly! Just because I'm a big girl doesn't mean I want to look frumpy so I decided to try Amazon for my dress and took a chance on this dress based on the reviews. I couldn't have been more happy. The dress was stunning and I had compliments all night long! It was a beautiful shade of purple with just the right amount of glittery sparkle. I wear a size 24 and bought my size and had plenty of room in it to move, dance, etc. I did wear Spanx with it but who doesn't? I paired it with jewelry I also bought on Amazon that matched it to a PERFECT 'T'. I had no issue with the price, shipping was fast and I will most definitely wear this gown again for formal night on a cruise. Buy your normal size. Also, you don't need a special bra with this dress which was a bonus! Straps stayed up all night like they were supposed to. The slit was super sexy! You will feel like a princess in this gown. I promise!

I wore this gown to my Son's wedding and felt like I was on DYNASTY....everyone complimented my dress and my Son was proud to dance with his Mom. This dress is classy, elegant, has LOTS of give so you don't feel stuffed into it. Comfortable, soft inside, VERY VERY SPARKLY outside ( GLITTER HURRICANE ALERT) and I LOVED IT! The price was GREAT! I wasn't sure the size I ordered was gonna fit but it did! I'm wearing the biggest size it comes in , I am 5'6 and almost 350lbs. I do recommend a shaper if you have rolls and a strapless bra ( I had neither )
Very Flattering plus size dress

This dress is very flattering if you are tall and have a large bust and stomach. I'm 5'7, 195 lbs, and wear a 42 DD bra. The size 18 plus fits perfectly and just touches the ground with 1 inch heels. The glitter does come off onto skin or whatever else it touches but this doesn't bother me. I'm wearing this dress for my daughter's wedding.

It's looks better than the picture, so elegant. The color is spot on and I am 5'9" and it came just above my ankles. I wore this at my daughter's wedding and I was comfortable in it all evening. The one thing that was a small nuisance was the glitter (but I don't like glitter), it was not that bad that is why I said it was a small nuisance.

I wore it to my sonâs wedding and received numerous compliments. The slate grey color is gorgeous and allowed my emerald jewelry to pop. It hangs very well and was comfortable all afternoon and evening. This was going to be my backup dress but quickly became the perfect choice.

This dress is beautiful and very flattering. However, the glitter leaves a mess! I tried this dress on and it is an amazing dress but I left a trail of glitter all around the house, I felt like a fairy leaving a glitter trail! This dress was supposed to be for a military ball but I didn't feel comfortable leaving a mess all over everything so I did return it.

The fit on this dress was perfect. I typically wear 14W but I tend to go up a size in formal wear. I got so many compliments. May even buy it in another color. You will not be disappointed.

This dress is heavenly! Drapes beautifully, is flattering but not revealing, hides problem areas well, and works for many occasions. Seams are well done. Fabric is really nice for the style. I usually don't expose my arms but the dress and off-the-shoulder look was flattering.I'm picky about clothes and return more than half of what I buy from anywhere, but this dress is phenomenal! Just watch the price and know that it'll drop here by 30 or 40 if it goes on sale at other major retailers.Size 20 by the way.

I bought this dress for my sons wedding in July. Can't wait to wear it. It fits perfect with the measurements I ordered. It is a beautiful dress and very good quality. It does lose some sparkles and hopefully when I take it in to get hemmed it won't lose too many.

Lovely dress but I'll have to have it shortened. I'm 5'2" and need about 4 inches removed.
