Great Dress! good quality, stick to sizing

Ordered this dress for a 50's show I'm in. It was lovely and fit well. For personal neurotic reasons the cap sleeve didn't work for me, but wanted to give it a try anyway. I just hate showing that much arm. It definitely covered as much as you would expect a cap sleeve to cover, so the picture and description are spot on. Also, I got two sizes not knowing which would fit best, and the larger of the two fit best. So stick to sizing. It is a snug fit, which fits well with period. The material does have some stretch but since it zips up the back there's only so much it can stretch in order to zip it up properly, which is why following the sizing is so important. All in all, great quality, color is spot on and looks exactly as photo. It was a beautiful A-Line with the pleats and everything, but if you want it to be the typical poofy bottom of the 50's then get a petticoat as well.

The fabric stretched which was good because it seems the run a bit small. The dress was better quality sewing that I expected for being so cheap however after wearing it one day the zipper broke, also the fabric tends to wrinkle pretty badly so be prepared for that.

Great fit, Iâm 5.0 ft 150 pounds large size is perfect for me, a deal for the price and color didnât change with wash, recomend to wash it first because sleeves irritated my skin.

When I purchased this dress, it had no reviews. I'm glad I took a chance on it! The color is gorgeous and I felt like I was covered but not overly modest. Personally I needed to order one size up as the fabric has minimal stretch. For the price (around $25) I am satisfied with the quality. I am a little wary about washing it and will update my review if it shrinks or the color runs. Very happy overall!

I was very careful to read the size chart and order properly. Cannot wear with a bra bc I cant get the waist over my chest (36dd)
