This is a high quality, beautiful dress. I bought the size two for my tall slim nine year old. It hits her at the knee. The bodice has whaleboning and can be tightened by tightly lacing. I hand altered the bodice to slim it even a bit more for her (because I know I can take out my stitches as she grows). I will add matching wide pink satin ribbon straps to go over her shoulders so the dress does not fall down, as she is using it for Halloween and will be playing.If you do not want to add straps, you could always use Cramer firm grip adhesive spray directly on the body for a bit more traction.We are using this dress for a Halloween costume so my daughter can be Cupid. We added Adult Angel Wings 43 x 27" Sold by: Amazon.com LLC $24.99 which are enormous feathered wings, which I will also modify with wide pink satin ribbon straps so that everything matches and attaches, and she will also carry a very large bow and arrow which I spray painted chrome silver. I will make three inch wide hearts out of Wonderfoam, cover those with hot glue and silver glitter, and attach the hearts to her ballet slippers. I will make a third matching heart and attach that to the arrow as the arrowhead. She looks smashing.

The dress is beautiful it is exactly how I expected it to be, however the packaging was poor. When I took it out of the crumbled back 2 rhinestones were missing (found in the bag) I attempted to sew back on (I can't sew to save my life) and when I tried it on my daughter a rhinestone fell off. My daughter was taken back by that and asked me to send it back since she was scared the stones would fall off when she wore it. I wish I would have kept it, as I ended up spending a lot more for a different dress elsewhere.

Very beautiful. My fourteen year old daughter is 5'7 and weighs 132 LBS. She looked amazing. Very nice material and well put together. Would definitely buy from this vender again. It just take about a full 7 days to get to you

Pretty little dress and very well made. To be used as a costume but definitely a dress for a special occasion. Color true to online picture and delivery was quick, although it came a day later than it notified me.
