We bought this for our daughter who fell in love with the plaid design. She absolutely adores this dress and it looks fantastic on her. We chose medium for her, she's 5'3, 135 pounds, 34C, 35/29/39. The fit is perfect!We hand wash in cold water and drip dry, No problems whatsoever.

Love this retro style dress! I bought it for the holidays, and got tons of compliments. Add some pearls and you're good! I'm 5'7" 150. The medium was a perfect fit.

Perfect, I have several of these dresses, and I love the cut. Today, I received one with the strawberry pattern. It fits nicely, no gap at the neckline. I'm 5'3" and 197, and the extra large fits perfectly. The skirt hits below the knee. The material is light, but I pulled it out of the bag and it was virtually wrinkle free. The other dresses I have in this same make, I tend to wash, tumble dry, and hang. I have never had to iron the dresses. They are lovely. The belt is cute, but it is completely fabric. It would be nice if the belt had a little more body, but really, it is a gorgeous dress. (I love the strawberry pattern!)

I don't know if I have ever been this in LOVE with a dress! I ordered a size small and it fits like it was made for me! I am 5'8'', 36B, and around 125 lbs. The dress was perfectly comfortable in the bust and armpit areas, allowing for complete range of motion, and fell right below my knees.I purchased this dress for a garden party and it literally turned heads everywhere I went! I don't know that I have ever been so complimented or admired for an outfit ever before! Hands down, this is among the BEST purchases I have made on Amazon! You can't beat the price and the fabric is wonderful, comfortable, and has a little stretch to it, which is always nice. Plus, it arrives in quality packaging. I love this dress! I was looking for a nice quality cheap dress. I bought this dress for my jazz competition dance team, our theme was Hairspray and I needed a 1950's-1960's dress. The fabric quality was wonderful and I took notice of how other people were saying to size and I ordered a medium. For reference I am 5'3, 140lbs, and I can wear anything from a size 6-12. I have quite large hips and wear about 34C or 34D in bras. I hope that helps someone. The material is wonderful and the seams are well sewn. I haven't danced in it yet, but I''l update when I do and see how the dress holds up. Keep in mind that this is more of a formal dress and can not be washed in the washer machine, it must be dry cleaned, that is one downside to this dress, just because I am using it as a costume. It hits about two inches past my knee and looks great with a petticoat underneath of it. The last two photos I included do not have the petticoat underneath for reference. Overall a great dress for a great price. I definitely would buy again.
Took a chance on XL size...it fits!!!!! Just barely

I usually order this type of dress in a 2X or 3X, but it didn't come in those sizes, so I took a chance on the XL, and it fits....just. My measurements are 45 1/2" bust, 38 1/2" waist, 40D bra, which are quite a bit bigger than the chart size for this dress, so I'm lucky it fits. The belt doesn't fit, unless I add a grommet hole, but I have belts that will work. The dress is very comfortable, nice crisp material, and ends below my knees by about 2 inches. I'm 5'3" . All my other 50's style dresses are very summery looking, but this plaid can go all 4 seasons. As usual on all these dresses, the zipper always seems to stick at the point it goes over the waist seam. Even the dresses that are slightly big on me stick there. Not a clue why. All in all, I am extremely pleased with this dress and think I'll get a lot of wear with it. No petticoat for casual wear, with petticoat for dressier occasions. There is a care tag sewn inside the lower skirt seam. I highly recommend this dress. I think you could probably order your normal size, but check your measurements against the manufacturers chart, not the Amazon chart. May have to go up one size

Lovely dress but, this 1950's Aubrey Hepburn Plaid dress, is too tight for my bust, I'm 5'2" and 34B I usually wear size small dresses, I chose it small cause I'm Asian and I thought it will fit me but it didn't I'm a little disappointed I wish I could return it for no cost and exchange it for Medium size. See attached photos I couldn't close the back.

I'm a size 12 and my bra size is a 38DD. This dress fits amazingly well, the material is thick and the belt really accents my waist. Based on other reviews I decided to go with the XL, due to my bra size if I followed the size chart provided I would have had to get a size larger. This dress has a bit of give in it so it fits just right over the chest area. I do have a little bit of room at the waist area, but it's not noticeable at all and just makes the dress a really comfortable wear. The belt fit around my waist, and really makes me look skinnier than I actually am (just my personal opinion). When I wore the dress to work I got tons of compliments, and when my coworker asked me where I got the dress from she was shocked when I said Amazon and told her the actual price. This dress totally makes me feel like walking sunshine when I wear it (I got the yellow flowered one).

You get what you paid for. I read a review it is true to size. I bought a medium size and the waist is 31 ( according to the size chart that is a large size). The bust is bigger than the chart measures ( I didn't bother to measure as I am not very happy with my choice and it would upset me more than I already am...). The fabric is really hard to iron and the finish is poor... Unfortunately today I have a 50's party and cannot return it. It does not look like the picture. Really dissapointed.

Fab dress came on time. But a bit on the large side. But the dress was great thick material.once I had it taken in a little it looked lovely. I had it on for my works Christmas party and had lots of lovely comments on how nice it looked. Recommend this product

it was like they sewed a size XL skirt on to a size XS bodice as the skirt fit, but once the zipper reached my waist, i could not even get the zipper closer than 4" apart with the effort of a second person. Probably a bit of an anomaly but my experience nonetheless.

LOVE this dress. After feeling awful in everything I bought this and as soon as I put it on I felt amazing! Fits my shape perfectly! Bought the XLarge size as am on the bigger side of a14 waist with a 34F bust and narrow shoulders. Will be buying more now!

I have never had a dress fit so perfectly. I am usually an odd shape and a dress that fits my waist never fits my bust but this is spot on. Gorgeous fabric with a little stretch, beautiful colours and the print is lovely. Over the moon with this dress!

strangely the cut was very strange with the waist far too high and overall the size is far too small. I have a number of dresses from Belle Poque and the sizing has been fine, maybe this is a one off
