This dress is okay but not as nice as I had hoped. The red is far brighter than shown, a standard Christmas red instead of the dark almost wine red. The waist is a little short on me, but I do have a long waist so that isn't wholly unexpected. The large fits as other reviewers said. I'm 37/31/41 and it fits with room but even then the buttons seem to bag out--I think it's because the fabric is quite crispy and stiff. It'll have to be washed; I hope that solves it. Be aware that care is hand wash, hang dry only. It's built in two layers, with a knit sort of camisole slip inside the top half. The buttons in the front do open and there is also a hidden zipper in back that is permanently connected at the top of the neckline. Odd but does help get in and out. The sleeves each have two tiny buttons on them. I didn't get them buttoned in my photos because it was so fussy. The sleeves on me also are far shorter than the below-elbow shown in the photo and seem pretty tight. My arms aren't very big so this could be an issue for some girls. Sorry pictures are bad but you get the idea I hope. With a tighter belt it might be more flattering and with some washing and ironing I might get the massive wrinkles out of the skirt but overall it's not all that great. The skirt, for a swing style, is so stiff a fabric that it doesn't swing at all but stands away from the body. Meh..
Well worth the price

This is a great buy. The fabric has a nice feel and stretch. I am 5'4" 173#. The dress hit below the knee. The only issue i have is the gathering in the back. The large fit well, but i feel like i could have gone with a medium as i did not have to unzip the dress to get it on.

Dress arrived very wrinkled. I hand washed it and tried hanging it, because you cannot tumble dry...made it worse so it had to be ironed. Aside from that, it fits perfectly and looks nice - even in an extra large.

THE QUALITY OF THE DRESS WAS CRAP. Looked nothing like the picture. The dress was COTTON and the jacket was ridiculous. You get what you pay for. I donated it.

the color of the lace doesn't match the rest of the dress. The rest of the dress is a brighter red while the lace is darker burgundy...I wanted to return it.

Stretchy thick material. Very comfortable and flattering. I wear a large in shirt, 36 DDD bra and a size 12 jean, I should have ordered a large instead of an XL, but it's still very nice. I'm happy with the price and the dress. Thinking about ordering another in black. :)
