Great dress

I got this for a Great Gatsby theme party, and it was perfect. I was wary to buy it, though, because of the manufacturer's measurements. I emailed them and asked the measurements for the hips (because none were given), and they responded very quickly with 36 in. That's 2 in smaller than my hips; I'm normally a size 6-8, which is usually a pretty solid Medium. But I bought it anyway because the material has some stretch to it, and maybe it wouldn't look terrible. When I got it, it fit perfectly without hugging my butt or really stretching at all. I never measured the dress myself, but it's not quite as small as it sounds or as the measurements given. So if you are someone who wants a touch of 1920s flapper, but you still want a dress you can wear after Halloween, and you're a (true) size 8 or smaller, this dress will work for you; in fact, if you're much smaller, you might think it's too big. I am also 5'6 with a 32" inseam, and this dress hit my thigh in just the right place, right in the middle (~4" above the knee cap). Very happy with my choice!
well constructed

Lve the dress. I will be able to wear this on other occasions. Very comfortable. Did not need to use the zipper as it slides over the head easily. Liked that it was plain on the back. much better for sitting and dancing. Very comfortable. Will be taking it on my cruise later this year. Lost very few fringes and 1 of the top decorations. A couple of them are loose but repairable all of them are at the armpit, so I'm sure after a night of dancing they were rubbed against or pulled by the hubby. Could not tell any were damaged unless you look closely while on a hanger. With this style of dress, you are bound to lose a few decorations. I usually wear a medium. I purchased a large as I am busty and did not want a tight fit. I think a medium would have been a little more form-fitting but I wanted something to be able to dance in and not be tugging on all night.
The right dress for the price

It's more of a costume than a dress, but for the price I paid, it was a good deal. My daughter wore the white version to a fancy Girl Scout "Soiree en Blanc" event wearing it, and she received many compliments. She wanted something that was different from a standard girls' party dress, and with a scarf and faux pearls for accessories, she looked adorable. She's a little over 5 feet tall and 110 pounds, and it fit perfectly. Be aware that the back has neither fringe nor sequins and is quite sheer. You definitely want to wear a slip underneath--without one, you can see underwear from the back, even under opaque tights. (In the photo I took, it looks shorter than it actually was--it hit right above the knee. But you can see that it's fun to shimmy with the fringe.)
Fit me perfectly

I wore this for a Gatsby inspired party and got lots of compliments. Perfect for a theme night or costume event. The quality is not the greatest, but I wasn't expecting perfection for the price. I did survive the night without any loss of sequins or pulls in the fabric. I'm 5' 2", 115lbs and usually wear a size 4 and the small/medium fit perfectly. The back of this dress is pretty sheer, so I wore a slip underneath. Overall it was a great purchase for me.
Pretty pink flapper style dress

Very pretty. The color is more like a dusty rose than pink. The fabric is thin so definitely need undergarment (spanx!). Size is like a 6-8. The only thing that disappoints me is that there is no fringe or other detail on the back.
It is very short

I am 5'7, wear a size 6 dress and definitely on the curvier side for my frame. This dress did fit and was not too tight at all. As mentioned in many other reviews the fringe does not go around to the back and the back is see through. The front is very cute and if you have a good slip it may be ok. It is sooo short. The bottom of the dress sat about 8 inches above the top of my kneecap. I will have to wear some dark tights to make this work. The material is so light one slight gust of wind or someone bumping into me will make for a embarrassing situation.
Beautiful dress, runs small

This dress was really beautiful. I purchased this for my daughter to wear for a 1920s flapper project. Unfortunately this dress runs small and it is short on my 5'2" daughter, therefore we had to return it. It is also very thin material, so I would suggest wearing this with a slip underneath and ordering a size larger. Dress arrived faster than the time estimated and the return process has been very smooth. I will still consider purchasing other items from this seller in the future.
didn't work for me

Quality is good. And the dress is really cute. Kind of sucks thogh that the back is just plane febric w/o the design. I'm 5'6" and 150lbs, wear a solid medium. The dress fit good size wise but was too short. I felt like if i bend down my behind would be showing. I tried it with an under dress slip that was longer than the dress but it looked ugly. So i didn't wear it to the party, i just returned it. They're very good about the returns.

This dress started falling apart before I could even use it. Bought it for an event, but had to purchase something else due to the pieces falling off from trying it on. Tags are still on it, never been worn other than to try on. Really disappointed with the quality of this dress. Would like to return it, but the return window was closed.
