This was absolutely a gorgeous dress, will not disappoint. I was invited to a theme scholarship fundraiser: The Cotton Club. I researched various dresses and decided to give Amazon a go because my hubby swears by them. So, I begin looking and reading reviews, I have to admit I was close to the deadline date to order (Wednesday) and event was Saturday. I had all my eggs in one basket. The dress arrived on my doorstep approximately 4pm on Saturday and I was to leave by 8:00pm, yes I like to live dangerously, no not really. I was concerned about the quality, fit, and if my rear end would be exposed like that of the previous reviewer. The little white package was on my front porch and I'm praying the whole time. I hope it up and laid it out, perfect... Actually, prettier in person than picture; No wrinkles. So, next I stretched the dress and I'm like ok.. here we go. I stepped in the dress and slipped it up and it went up effortless. I ordered an XLarge and I am usually a size 12/5"1. I had room and it was so comfortable. So, I was winning... I'm so glad I dressed in the theme because the people were dressed just like the era. I had so many people ask where I got the dress from and I happily replied, Amazon.com. So, don't be surprised if you get an influx of orders this time next year, for this is an annual event. Thank You, Pretty Guide for such a great dress and easy process Amazon. Sorry for such a long description but I felt I needed to, it was a great purchase.

I was incredibly impressed about the quality of this dress for the price. It's well beaded and heavy like a Parker dress. It's hangs perfectly and isn't too tight. I got plenty of compliments all night. Great buy.I'm 5'5" 130 lbs and I got a Small

I love the dress the quality of it was great for the price that I paid BUT the slip under the dress is way too small. I had to buy a slip to put under in order for it to cover from my waist below. I received a lot of compliments on the dress

Commandée pour un mariage thème années 20, je ne m'attendais pas à un telle qualité! La matière est superbe et les sequins sont très bien cousus, seul petit bemol, taille un peu grand, je porte habituellement un 40, j'aurai du la commander en M... foncez, rapport qualité prix imbattable! This is a beautiful dress, I got a ton of compliments on it. I will say that although the fringe is long, the dress is short. Fortunately there were nice napkins for my lap at dinner . I am 5'7" and an athletic build I did wear 'spanx' but probably didn't have to... In a size xl it came just under my butt cheeks. I felt amazing in this dress.

This dress is so beautiful in person, pictures DO NOT do it justice! I am 5'7, 150 pounds and wear a size 6 in dresses. The small fit perfect. BUT..like other posters before me said, the liner is impossibly too short. I tried it on and moved around, even with not lifting my arms up, the liner crept up exposing all of my underclothes. SO my first step was to buy a spanx/body shaper skirt in nude. It fit decent underneath the dress but the hem of the liner is so prominent that you could see it a mile away. (and also see that it was creeping up) Next, I tried tucking the liner into the body shaper which looked terrible because you could see thru the sequins that it was tucked. Next try, I took it to my tailor's. We discussed undoing the hem then placing random stitches around the base to hold it in place but doing that would only add maybe half an inch. Next we discussed completely replacing the inner liner but to have it to be the length I would want it, the liner would hit the middle of my thigh (which hits mid-fringe) and just didn't look right. I battled and battled this and gave up. Dress was so beautiful and I wish the maker had only added a few more inches and even could charged more. Beading is exquisite, breathtaking dress! On a side note, the "luxury beige" is also peach. I'm thinking height definitely makes a difference in this dress. Hope this review helps!

This dress is great value for money. It looked too small as I held it up but tried it on and was pleasantly surprised as the dress has quite a bit of give in it. Perfect for a 1920's party.

The dress is beautiful and has decent quality stitching and beading. I bought an XL and I usually wear a 16/18 but the dress fit my upper body fine but the slip (sewed in as a part of the dress) pulled taught in the back which was unflattering. I'm not sure if it's because I'm busty that this happened.I'm 5'11" and the inner slip basically came to the top of my thighs. It wasn't wearable. After some advice I bought a half slip that looks like a skirt and wore it underneath. It was the perfect length because it lined up with the end of the fringe.I bought the dress to wear to a roaring twenties themed birthday party. We went to a 1920s themed bar. I got tons of compliments and got asked if I was in a bridal party.The negative is the length of the inner slip and the fringe at the bottom came off easily, between accidentally wrapping it in my clutch hardware and taking my slip/pantyhose off throughout the night to use the ladies room.

I ordered this dress for my Mom's Great Gatsby themed party which was going to be out of the country. The party was quickly approaching and I had been too busy to shop locally so I ordered this dress a few weeks before the party and it arrived so fast. When the dress arrived, it came in a thick clear plastic bag with tags on it, no smell, and very nicely handled. I am a 12-14 in bottoms and Medium-Large in tops so I ordered an XL thinking it may run small, but no, it ran somewhat big and had a slight bulge in the back around the zipper area, but I didn't really mind it; it was 1920's theme and dresses were not tight/form fitting back then. The beading on this dress is incredible, the material is good. The only thing is that with all the dancing a few pieces of the fringe on the bottom came off, nothing major or noticeable. I highly recommend this dress, it is definitely stunning and worth the money. I wish I had full body pictures to post but I have no full body pics, other than the one I posted. I hope this helps.

Es un vestido precioso, es de buena calidad y sienta muy bien!! Los acabados y la simetrÃa del diseño son perfectos. En cuanto a la talla, en mi caso soy muy ancha de espalda y en proporción estrecha de cadera. Tengo 91cm de pecho ,91 cmde cadera y 78 cm de cintura. Yo compré la talla S , ya que leà que daba más talla y me quedaba perfecto de pecho y espalda y un poquito ancho de cadera para mi gusto. Escogà el color azul que es precioso. Os mando foto para dar más información. Es un vestido muy bonito. Yo lo recomiendo para bastante más que un disfraz!!

The dress itself was lovely, I ordered it to try with a few other dresses and it wasn't the best one so went with another, but my opinion was definitely swayed away from it because the fringe at the bottom was damaged, it smelt very strongly of perfume and had been rolled up and put into the packaging. The dress had clearly been worn for an occasion then returned by someone before it had got to me, which is really disappointing as if I'd really liked it and wanted it I would felt uncomfortable not knowing what could have happened to it before it were in my hands. If the people at the factory or whatever had just looked at it they would've seen it wasn't packed to their standard and something was off, very disappointed

Much better quality than expected and excellent value for price. Bought for themed wedding and perfect for this. Glad I chose large (normally 12) as fits perfectly i.e. Not too clingy. Fringe at bottom finishes below the knee but would have liked dress to be a bit longer though that's down to personal preference rather than a problem with dress. Overall very pleased with purchase.

Loved this dress it was perfect for a 1920s evening event. Fit was fine I'm a size 12 and ordered a medium also I'm only 5ft 3 and it was a great length. Delivery was amazingly quick and I look forward to wearing it again.

The dress arrived earlier than expected and by post rather than the stated courier. On opening it appears rather small but fitted perfectly - I am a UK size 16/18 and ordered the XL - and feels heavy but is actually quite light once on The corner of one the lower sections of beading had not been catch-stitched but it was a very minor issue to fix (and didn't show/spoil the look of the dress). All in all, I would highly recommend this item.

Bought this for a theme night out. Quality was much better than I expected. An absolute bargin. I would wear it on other occasions too. Beading and detailing was continued on the back too, which makes the dress look much more expensive than it was. Very impressed.

The dress was gorgeous and received lots of compliments at my 1920s work do. The length of the dress was perfect for me, but my legs aren't the longest at 5ft 3inches. For me the arm holes were a bit too big (could see my bra from the sides). However was easily rectified by sewing a couple of darts. Thank you.

Das Kleid ist sehr schön und reicht in GröÃe S von der Länge her bis zur Hälfte der Oberschenkel (ich bin 1,70 m groÃ). Darüber sitzt das Hauptkleid. Es ist also recht kurz. Es hat eine angenehme Weite, nicht zu körpernah (ich trage normalerweise 36/38).Es ist super verarbeitet, die Farbe ist Crème mit einem Hauch von Rosa. Durch die vielen Pailletten und Perlen ist es recht schwer, und macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck.Der Versand erfolgte sehr schnell.
