Beautiful retro dress

Loving this retro style dress. I choose the black and red pattern. I'm a US size 6/8, 5'10, medium. I ordered this dress in size Medium. Perfect fit! These sizes are true to US size. The length was plenty long for me. I have longer legs and this still came down to right above my knee. The dress has an all over bright red rose pattern. The roses really pop with the black ground, they almost look 3D. The neckline is a black satin Peter Pan collar. The same black satin material is used around the waist and back. The dress is a vintage/retro style. The skirt is very full. I wear a black petticoat underneath (not included) this makes the skirt more full making the waist look smaller. It's sleeveless. The materials used and light weight and breathable. This is a great dress for spring/summer months. The dress is made from a cotton blend material. The dress has just a little bit of stretch to the fabric. I did hand wash the dress, to maintain the color. Had no ideas, used regular detergent and air dried. Would recommend steaming after fully dry. This is s very pretty, well made dress. Great for dressy or causal events.

I typically like these styles of dresses because it has a wider bottom to disguise wider hips. The material was very comfortable and stretchy but the waist is a bit higher and although it is a sleeveless dress it seemed tighter around the shoulders. You can see in the pictures it cuts close to the armpits. The collar and waistband is of a satin like material (shiny) and was a little wrinkled but used a steamer and it was good to go. I'm around 140-145 lbs 5'6" 34-36B for size comparisons.

I'm 5' 132 lb woman. I ordered size large, according to other reviews and it is perfect. I have a little belly. Dress is well made. Bought it for a retro party. Probably won't wear anywhere else, since it's retro. Great value and so nicely made. Satin neckline and waist, adds to it's charm. Buy it!
