Not exactly what I expected

I loved the pictures of this dress. When the dress arrived it wasn't what I was expecting. The bottom hem was unfinished- without a seam. The pleats were not as prominent as in the photos. I followed the sizing guidelines and ordered the appropriate size, but it was too big. I really wanted to love this dress, but couldn't, so I returned it.

The second I opened the box I knew the dress had to go back because it smelled terrible. I donât know what the smell was or why it smelled but it was bad. I did try it on to see if it was worth trying to reorder. The dress was very loose at the waist and the bust was extremely tight. The photos make the dress look like a fit & flare style but it was cut with no shaping.
Simply perfect.

This dress is really pretty. The material is surprisingly nice quality as well. I love the deep color and it really lays perfectly on you.

The dress is absolutely beautiful! The fitness just about what I thought it was. I have a smaller bust so it did not fill out, but it is not loose or baggy. The dress did smell...pretty awful. It is hard to describe the smell, but i had to keep it in the bag it came in until I had it dry cleaned which seemed to help.

Nice velvet dress, pretty embroidery. Good value. Fits and moves well. Nice pleat detailing on the skirt.
