Nice dress, just not for me

Very pretty beading design but I thought the back would be more of a sheer fabric- it's actually a light grey semi-opaque mesh. It's a loose fitting dress, not quite as loose as an actual flapper would have had but it's not tight. I am a solid medium - 5"7 and 132 lbs, and I ordered a medium which was loose fitting on me. I think it's a good dress for tall people; on shorter people the dress would be down the the floor. The dress hit just below my knees and the fringe is almost another 12" long. The dress and fringe are a nice weight. I got it to wear to a flapper party but think I will be returning it because it's not exactly what I thought it would be.

Awesome dress, the quality is way better than expected. I am 5'10" 165 pounds and have trouble fitting things over my butt so I ordered an XL. The top was loose and I fit over my butt perfectly and the fringe covered a multitude of any sins

Bought this for a student for a theatrical performance, and it fit her perfectly. She's 5'10", 150 lbs, so I bought a medium. It wasn't skin tight, but it gave just enough room for her to dance and act in. The fringe ended mid-calf on her, so if you're shorter just know the fringe could be a little long.

This is a gorgeous dress and I am so happy I bought it! It fits like a dream though I do need help getting the side zipper up and then again with pulling the dress over my head to get it off. But it's worth it because it's so pretty!I usually wear a size 16 in pants and dresses so I ordered an XXL based on other reviews. I am glad I ordered XXL because it fit me perfectly without much room for error. An XL would have been too small. The fringe comes further than I expected. I am 5'8" and it comes to my mid calf, though that isn't a bad thing. I like that it isn't too revealing on the legs. This really is a great dress and I may consider buying other colors if I need them!

I bought this for a Gatsby event style gala. I was surprised no one else had this dress on, It is true to color and size. The fringe hangs right above the ankles and the waist part does give you some shape. The dress is very comfortable to wear for hours on end, it is a thin materiel, you don't have to have more than a slip or spanks on underneath, but a wrap or jacket if it is cold out. It is very pretty and does sparkle a lot in the light. It seems well made, however there was one extra long piece of fringe and a few threads around the sequins that look like they were pulled a bit. An easy fix, but something to keep an eye on for more trouble spots.All in all I am happy with this purchase and I hope to find another excuse to wear this again.

Good quality. Beading sewn firmly on. A few stragglers in the fringe but easily cut. Just didn't love the fit. I'm 6' and the length was great. Lining came to just above my knees, fringe mid calf. Not a true 1920's silhouette (too tight and shaped) and on me (43-35-42 with thinnish legs) clung to all the wrong places and just wasn't flattering. Also, the sleeve holes gaped. I got the XXL. Could have worn the XL but then it would have been tighter and even less 1920's which was essential for my personal usage. Try it! It's a nice dress.

This dress fits and falls just perfectly on me. Definitely order a size down if you want this dress to hug your body a little closer. The small would have fit, but I like it a little clingy. This dress is well made with a little stretch to it, so don't worry about it being too tight to sit or dance. I'm an athletic 5'4" and this dress falls just above my knee; the tassels at the bottom feel silky and not cheap. I was worried buying this dress for only $37 that it would be cheaply made, but it certainly isn't. I'll definitely be wearing this dress again.

NOT A STRETCH DRESS!! No give ladies!! Does run small so I bought two sizes larger and glad I did because I have huge breasts and a big butt and small waist. Fits my breast and butt, however hangs straight with 5 inches of loose material in my waist. It is what it is on that. More importantly it runs small and no zipper so you will need to be able to get it over your head and all the way down your entire body from the bottom. You cannot step into it because the back is too sheer and may tear trying to pull it up. Once itâs on it BEAUTIFUL!!

I am a curvy size 18-20AU and (with spanx for my belly) this fits very nicely & is very flattering (given the givens)there is some give in itlooks very classy and I'll use it not just for the 1920s fancy dress it was bought for for.Delivered super quick with next day delivery.Stunner!!
