AMAAAAZING dress BUT...

I love the color I got which was the mint green, would look amazing in silver pumps and pink lipstick. When I checked out this item I was really struggling with the colors, they are all so beautiful. I have a bad habit that I'm trying to break where I buy multiple colors of an outfit, but now I want the white. If I could I would buy all the colors. I'm a very tall girl(6ft) and the dress funny enough is not as short on me, which is usually a big problem for me. It's the perfect mini dress that's got enough shortness to be considered classy and not tacky. Also, being this is a shift dress with no belt/darts, if you are curvy like I am, you will bring this dress to life. So don't worry about the straight shape when you see it. Those sleeves make me feel like a dainty delicate woman, which is awesome coz I'm such a tomboy. I'm size 10 with a DD cup size.UPDATE (10/27/14): So I finally wore the dress for the first time a week ago at a wedding. I got plenty of compliments all evening. The dress even as a mini(I'm 6ft tall) was very appropriate for the formal occasion. It photographs well, and whether I was sitting or standing, the dress was comfortable. Also, there were no creases from sitting down. Now, the reason why I am back on here with this update is because it's laundry day for me right now. The dress was up for a wash, so as always I flipped it over to read the washing instructions on the garment. Even though I had assumed it was probably a dry clean garment, nothing of the sort was mentioned on the tag. So I put it in the washer with like colored clothes and washed with cold water on a cold cycle. I took it out and the outer lace fabric was HARD, like almost crunchy. So i stretched it out as best as I could and laid it flat to dry. Looking at the dress nothing seems wrong with it until you TOUCH it. As i am sure for those of you who have this dress, the lace is very soft to the touch. So please, learn from my mistake and take it to the drycleaners!

Such a beautiful dress! I had been waffling about doing a Rent the Runway order for an upcoming wedding I'm going to, but the price for a nearly identical dress to this one on RTR would've been almost the same. I'm SO glad I bought this instead - I already know I'll wear it several times. It's a very stylish, yet timeless, lace dress. It's also quite comfortable! I'm really excited to wear it for the wedding, and now I'm thinking I'll also wear it for my office holiday party, as well.Now onto the fit. Some say this runs a size small. I don't know that I'd say that exactly, but if you're in between two sizes, I'd choose the larger one. So for me, I'm often between a size 4 and 6 and the 6 fits perfectly. It fits similarly to the way it looks on the model - form fitting but not super tight. It's also about the same length as it is on her - mid-thigh or so. For reference, I'm 5'6" and ~140lbs.As for the color, the emerald green looks a bit different than in person it does online (basically it's a bit darker). I thought that might be the case, as the one in the picture looks more teal to me than emerald. Frankly, I'm glad. I love teal, but I think it's more of a summery color and I plan to wear this dress more for fall/winter occasions.

I purchased this in one size smaller than my actual size because I planned to lose weight before wearing it. To my surprise, when it came, it was actually too big! I was disappointed because Amazon didn't have any smaller sizes I could reorder. However, I was able to find a tailor to re-fit this dress. After paying $75, I now I have a dress that fits perfectly.I would recommend this to anyone who is willing to get it altered. As other reviewers have said, the waist is big, so even if you did order the right size to fit your bust and hips, the waist will most likely be big.Other than the size running too large, it is a gorgeous dress. The length is perfect, not too revealing or too dowdy.

I originally bought this in a size 8 based on the measurements on Amazon. I received it and it was waaaay too big. I bought the dress in a size 4 and it fits perfectly. The other reviews say that this fits as measured. I totally disagree. I can't see how i had such different results.However, the dress is really nice and I'm still happy I bought it.

Love Adrianna Papel dresses and own several. Wanted something classy and sexy for my birthday party and this dress will do the job. The zipper all the way up in back is sassy, like it. I am 5'4", ordered the size 10 as usual with this designer, and the dress fits great, about an inch above the knee so not too mini. One comment is about the color. While it is a gorgeous blue, not quite turquoise in my opinion. I put it next to a top I own that is the shade I thought the dress would be. I will try to attach the photo of the two pieces side by side. I'd say more Aqua, a bit cooler as opposed to a warm muted turquoise as I was hoping. But it is beautiful and I am keeping it. I have antique gold sandals that are the same metal look as the zipper, I am all set for my celebration!

I am 5'4 and 130 lbs and ordered the 6. It fits very well. If I wanted a really tight fit, 4 would've worked, but I love the way it fits. A word to the wise--it is short. It's a perfect length for my height--about 2 inches above my knees--for the event I'm attending, but it could be too short for many.I ordered black--not see through (except sleeves of course) at all. Paring with nude pumps, a black chain cross-body bag and teal drop earrings.

I LOVE this dress! Use your best judgment with the size chart though. Based on my measurements I should've bought a size 8, but the size 4 fits me perfectly. If you can try on an Adrianna Papell or Ralph Lauren dress to get the size right, they fit really similarly.

What arrived did not match the product or description. A non branded no sleeve dress was delivered that was clearly not adrianna Papell. It had a paper adrianna Papell tag that was clearly attached just to believe it is not fake. The dress itself had no markings or permanent tags with any brand name. The dress was also supposed to be 3/4 sleeve. Attached is a picture of what was recieved.
