Flattering Dress ~ You May Need to Size Up

Love the style and color of this dress. Unfortunately, it was too small for me. You may want to buy a size larger unless you are very slim or small boned. There's no stretch.What I like about the dress, too, is that if you're big busted, it's flattering and covers the bust with the ruffle. But you need to get it over shoulders and bust.It does have a side zipper which helps. I love the flare and cinched in waist. I'm planning on losing 10 pounds so will see how it fits then. Right now it's running a little small, and I can often fit into a size 10.This is a great dress for work or date nights. It can be dressed up or down. It's washable - it may need pressing if it has been in a box and perhaps a suitcase. It's a flattering style which would work well for most figure types.
Pretty but small

This is a really simple and pretty dress in a retro sort of way. The big problem with the dress is that it is a size smaller that expected. I wear size 12 or large but I cannot get the side zipper to close, the back and front of the material won't even touch. Just so sad that the sizes of this brand are not consistent. I bought a dress in another style from this same brand and it fits lie a dream.

Sweet and Flirty

This sweet and flirty Lark & Ro Women's Ruffled V-Neck Fit-and-Flare Dress runs small. It has a zipper under the arm. I couldn't zip it under the arm although I am a small size 12. The V-neck has a ruffled front and back yoke. The dress is prone to wrinkle but presses up well with a steam iron. I recommend traveling with a steam iron when packing this dress for travel. I see this as a nice spring dress. The dress is said to be mulberry colored although I am more reminded of a plum color. The dress is machine washable and the instructions say not ton dry clean. Based on my past experience, I recommend against using a dry iron as I am positive it would make shiny places on the seams. I would definitely stick to a steam iron. The only reason I deducted one star is because the dress runs small rather than true to size.

The size I ordered based on the size chart fit me perfectly, and the dress is flattering. Perfect for a casual date.

Normally wear a 4-6, but will need at least a 10 in this one. Very cute, but not navy- more of a lighter blue.
Gives you an hourglass shape without being overly clingy. Looks great with silver heels!

Beautiful dress that has a flattering fit. The way the fabric drapes, it gives you an hour glass shape. It's not a clingy fabric that will show every flaw. Even the length and color is perfect. It's purple without being like Crayola crayon purple. More of a plum color. Super cute with a pair of silver open toe or strappy heels!
