Small Breasted Dress... my only complaint!

For reference:I am a D in the chest and size 8/10. I am 5'2" tall (I'm the one with pink hair. lol)My sister is a B in the chest and size 6. She is 5'5" tall (she is the other one. heh heh)Both of us experienced too small chests in the dresses size medium and large. I tried to return mine for the XL but it was huge everywhere else but the chest so I went with the large and we both just dealt with it through my moms wedding and took the dress off as soon as possible. however, CANT complain for $25!!! The dress was a great quality and perfect for a wedding on a budget!If you find yourself with more time, order a size larger and have them take in the waist or something, but my mom decided to cancel her April wedding since it was both of their 2nd and third weddings and they are in their 50's... and just get married at the courthouse. They didn't care, they just wanted to be married... but I convinced her to at least wait a couple weeks and do something small but still special, so we were working on a three week time frame to plan her quickie wedding. lol. (and yes, she thanked me on the day of her wedding. small or not, first or fifth, every girls wedding should be a special day!)But my point is that we didn't have time to make these dresses perfect. Even though tailoring would cost an additional fee... I had to have my dress tailored for my cousin's wedding also and THAT ONE cost $150 at david's bridal. so either way, for a perfect fit, you are looking at tailoring.If I had had the time also, I would have taken this dress up. at 5'2" tall and you can see it's a bit long in the photos. It was fine on my sister who is 5'5" tall.OH and a P.S.: They don't really say it, but the chiffon shawl comes with the dress and that is a great added bonus!

This is a great dress - especially for the price. When I saw such a low price, I figured I'm probably throwing this money away and will get a hot mess of a dress. But I figured I could still afford to salvage it if necessary with the help of a seamstress and still not be out of pocket too much...I was pleasantly surprised when I got it to see it fit almost perfectly. The top was a little big for me, so I did have it taken in, but I can't blame the dress since that isn't unusual for my body shape. The evening I wore it I got lots of compliments. The color was a rich wine color, very pretty. Because it's a satin-y material I was also concerned it might highlight every bump and bulge, but it didn't. I'm tempted to buy the same dress in a different color, but can't decide if that would be too much of a good thing. My only complaint is that my figure didn't look like the one in the picture...! If you're on the fence because of the price, DO IT, you won't be sorry.

I bought 2 of these as my older sister's bridesmaid's dress [1 for my little sister, 1 for myself].My little sister's small fit nicely on her.I got a medium for myself because the other reviews stated to follow the size chart closely. I normally wear a small and sometimes xs. Maybe I just like my clothes tighter than these other women, but I felt as though my medium was a bit too big for me. I tried on my sister's small and it fit just fine. I might take mine in half an inch along each side [1" total] if it bothers me enough. Both felt very comfortable as satin often feels.The zippers on both of our dresses were difficult to close. I don't have to use the zipper when wearing the medium and my sister doesn't have to use the zipper when wearing the small; we just kind of throw it on. The zippers just get stuck around the area where the diamonds are as expected of any dress.We both agreed the sheer top part should be pulled back and tighter about an inch. Not a big fix, we don't mind sewing it up ourselves. I'm sure the design was meant to be a bit droopy, but we preferred it not to be.This dress comes with a matching sheer shawl! It was a very nice bonus surprise for us although I'm not sure we'll be wearing them on the day the wedding.

I was the Matron of Honor in my Mother's wedding 11 years ago. I bought this, it was perfect when I received it. I have a steamer, so I got the wrinkles out. My BFF's daughter got married and she went back on line and bought her a golden for her daughter's wedding and it was perfect.

I just received the dress today. I purchased it for a formal dinner. I was a little worried about the dress size because 1. It's a "junior plus" and 2. A lot of people said the sizing was wrong. After much debate I went ahead and ordered a small anyways because that's what size I am and figured if it didn't fit, then Id just send it back. The dress fits great. It's not too big or small. The waist area could be a tiny bit smaller but it's not too big. It does fit well. I was a little unsure about the length because it comes below the knee but it kinda reminds me a 50's style dress that way and I like it. Overall, I am satisfied with the dress and I would recommend. I'd also recommend that you buy the size that you know you wear before you get a size larger based off of other reviews. I almost purchased a medium and it definitely would have been too big.

This dress was nice but it was cut small especially up top. Perhaps for a woman who is smaller chested is more narrow in the hips this would be a better fit. The color and quality were beautiful and the dress seemed well made. I accent under the bust was delicate and added an elegant tone to the overall gown. The shimmer of the gown was subtle and not as gaudy as others that I have seen. Overall this dress was lovely....I just wish it would have fit my body type.

i didnt want to rate this too low, because i'm a difficult body to fit and everyone is so different. it's a lovely dress and may look good on someone else, but just didnt hit me in the right spots. I marked the size as too large, but actually the 2x it was too large in the bust but not large enough at the hips for me. i bought the 2x and 3x sizes because i wasnt sure of the sizing--the 3x was ok at the hips, but massive at the bust, and even though it fit better down below was just not very flattering for some reason.

I ordered a 4x. I am 5'5" @ 230lbs. And a 42G bust. I had to add a little fabric to the bust to make it cover everything. Otherwise it fit fine. The color was beautiful.
