I wore this as a bridal dress for my wedding on October 31st. We had a 1920's theme and it was perfect! There's a side zipper; however, it was not needed. The dress was very comfortable and not too heavy. The silver fringe draped and swayed perfectly

Searched for the perfect dress for a 20's murder mystery on NYE and found it. This dress is even prettier in person, very well made, and very comfortable. I'm 5'2" and about 135 lbs and ordered the small. It fit perfectly. But the dress does run a tad bigger than a typical small. Great dress, especially for the price!

At 5'10 and 168 with a 34 inch waist and 41 hip got he XL and dress is quiet large could get a L.The lining underneath is quite short like really short mini and while the mess and tassels are much longer there is not coverage and it makes the slip look even shorter. In a dark color may work by wearing a slip underneath. While I find this dress very pretty and really want to find a way to make it work- the tassels are quite long and not very thick and seem to get tangles at times - also some longer then others. See photo - still not sure this conveys how short the lining is- also and see how the tassels are not that thick and some are longer. will order smaller size and see it works with a black short slip.Just got the large- still a bit too large at the waist and the lining is much much longer all the way down the the mess under the tassels. Would be comfortable wearing without anything underneath. Also in just like the first one- some of the finge are longer and a few in the back where cut. For the price not a big deal- easy to address.

Absolute perfection!! It is much, much cuter is person. What you cannot see well from photos is the detail! The pattern is prettier but even better, under the fringe is a hidden trimmed underskirt that adds so much flair to this dress. I LOVE IT! I ordered multiple dresses since I had no clue how they would fit. I always assume sequins=no stretch, so I was worried it would be too form fitting which is truly NOT the Roaring 20s...this dress is by far the comfiest that I tried on and most authentic looking as well. I ordered up a size after reading loads of reviews on all sorts of dresses and seeing their photos. Like everything in this day and age, the fits are tight and sexy. I would order up a size if you want to really look "Gatsby" but stick to your actual size for a more modern look.I believe no one could go wrong with the fit of the dress!

I currently wear a 14/16 so I ordered the XL and was afraid it would be too tight. It doesnt really have any stretch. It fit like a glove. The dress was extremely comfortable. The only problem is the length of the dress. The fringe is a great length, but the slip underneath is far too short to feel comfortable doing anything but standing. When you sit you're completely exposed. I bought a black slip to go underneath. It surpasses the one thats built into the dress by about 6 inches, so it did look a little strange to me, but no one else even noticed. If not purchasing a slip to go with it I would recommend wearing some shorts.

Fit :This is as 1920s as you get for the price. It is loose and drop - waisted without being unflattering. I'm 5'2",122lbs, 34b, and carry most weight in gut and hips. Most of the other dresses for this price on Amazon are very form-fitting which is not as Era accurate as I'd like, nor is it comfortable for me to show off the good, the bad, and the ugly curves I've got going on. The top comment on this outfit was that I looked like I belonged to the 1920s. Good stuffColor :I bought this in beige knowing most people coming to this event were going to be dressing in darker colors. Being the bride at a bridal shower, I decided to go with a lighter color. It's pretty accurate to the pictures. It's NOT ivory, it is definitely a beigeish pink. The darker sequins are pretty much a light metallic brown.Quality:This is why it's a 4 star and not a solid 5. I needed a slip underneath so as to not show off under garments (sheets see-through), some of the tassels were not cut right, and some of the bead work began to fray by the end of the night. (all problems are pictured). However it swayed so satisfyingly as I moved, it hung well, the collar was high enough to not worry about anything, and the look wasn't terribly cheap.Summary: this is best of the $50 and lower dresses you're going to find on Amazon.

This is a beautiful dress, especially for the price. I wasn't sure what size to order and after reading all the reviews, I ordered a Large. (Measurements 36, 30, 41) The dress is quite stretchy so the large was quite a bit too big. I ended up returning it and would have ordered it in another size except it is also pretty heavy and I was ordering it for a NYE dance party. It would have been too hot since it is all polyester and heavy.

I initially ordered a large but it was way too big so i sent it back and ordered a medium which fit really well. Not too baggy but not too tight as flapper dresses arenât really supposed to be tight anyway. I would recommend getting a size down. I wanted something comfortable and eye catching but not over the top. This was just that. I received a lot of compliments on the dress. Would definitely recommend.

The dress was gorgeous, and I wish it fit, but sadly need to send it back. I'm an 8-10 and ordered a small, but it fits more like a 10/12.
