This dress worked perfect for my flapper costume. Just to give an idea I am 5' 6 and between 169 to 174 pounds (varries) and I ordered a large. I wear about a size 12 also and the large would probably fit up to a size 13 maybe 14 depending on how you carry your weight. The extra large would probably be a better fit for 14 just to give an idea. I was nervous and did not know if it would fit too small or too big but it was perfect. Perfect length not too short but still short enough to show some leg and be sexy. The top straps are adjustable and it does have a side zipper although I didn't need it and left some wiggle room. I am bigger on the top so it was not least but I could see where that would be a concern if you were really petite up top. The dress had a little bit of a straightness to it. Still very flattering but I tied a scarf around my waist to give it more of a shape and I think it went with the costume better. The fringes and sequence go all the way around the backside which I also liked as some costumes I'be seen on here were plain in the back. A couple of the fringes did come off but it did not make any difference to the look of the dress. At the end of the day well worth the price And I could definitely wear it again. I'm not sure how it is for different sellers but this review is based on this seller as I do believe different companies make this dress possibly some made in China might have different sizing scales. This company was perfect and even shipped my dress two day shipping no cost to make sure I had it in time for the event.

I'm 5'3'', 130 pounds, and size D in the bust. After reading some of the reviews, I purposefully ordered a large so I could make my own alterations to fit better (I give myself genius points for that one). There is no front or back...it's exactly the same either way you wear it.... So I just picked a side, and then altered it in the back. (SUPER easy.... just one seam was all it took). I went dancing in it (blues fusion), and received countless complements on it. Total hit!The straps are a little iffy.... in that, I'm curious to see how long they'll last. The material is thin and I'm guessing they'll be the first to go. But who knows! If they do, I'll just make new ones.This is a great dress/costume for the price ($33).

I liked this dress a lot! Nice quality for the price. There is a zipper on the side but I never had to use it because it runs a little big. I just pulled the dress over my head. To give you an idea on sizing I ordered the one that is supposed to fit 0-4. I am 5'7", 122 pounds and 34A. It was quite roomy on the top and roomy on the waist. Comfortable in the hips. If I wanted it to fit perfectly I would have had the top taken in but since it was just for a costume party I didn't mind. It's very comfortable. A little stretchy and soft. Same design on the back as the front.

This dress is SUPER cute! I struggled with the size because Iâm a medium top, but I have some baby sag in my mid section, so I ordered a large. The top is too big while the mid section fits as needed. I think itâs really a problem with my body and not the product itself! It does fall nicely where I donât feel like I have to cover myself up! Overall, super cute! I would recommend it!

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I had to order two sizes up after reading the previous reviews, and I'm glad I did! I'm usually a size 10-12 but ordered the 14-16 and it fits just right. A little bit loose, just as I wanted - I hate when clothes cling to me.Overall the dress is absolutely STUNNING! I love the fit, the design, everything. I've been searching high and low for the right 1920s dress and it was worth the trouble to finally find this gem. Highly recommended!

This is a great buy! I am a swing dancer and purchased this dress for a 20's ball, and it worked quite nicely. The dress fit well, though I could have possibly gone up a size for added comfort. I am a size 10-11ish and 5'7" and got a Large. It was kinda short for my height but the long tassels helped and I wore leggings, so it worked out fine. The material was sturdy enough for hours of dancing and I got lots of compliments! I really enjoyed the diagonal tassels, and the straps/torso were comfortable without any rubbing/falling or other wardrobe issues. I would recommend this for a great and unique flapper dress!

A great dress for a themed party. I am 5@7" and a good size 12. I had ordered another design in the same make in a large which was far too big. The medium fit me perfectly. I have a slight tummy and the design covered that side of things up nicely. The neckline sat at a nice length across the chest too. The material is stretchy so it went on nicely and was comfortable all evening - 3 course meal and then dancing. The dress is a more golden colour in reality so it did feel a bit Strictly when I first received it (and I did wonder whether I should've gone for the black) but was absolutely perfect dressed up with black accessories for an Xmas party. I wore it with stockings and suspenders which were completely covered (although the stockings were tan-clack might show the tops off as there's not a huge amount in the length) The only thing I would like to have changed was the fact it was fairly shapeless around the waist but this is a minor gripe as it suits the style of the day it is designed for. I machine washed it on a quick wash in a laundry bag (could use a pillow case) for protection. The fringe is a bit crimply looking but I think they'll drop out or iron out straight should I need it again. I would definitely recommend.

This is a lovely dress, well made and just as the picture shows. However, it does come up small. I am a UK size 16 and after reading the reviews I ordered the 18/20. It only just fits!

This dress is beautifully made, even the zip is really well hidden. The sequins and embroidery on the dress it perfect. A really lovely dress. It is a present for my daughter so I won't know how well it fits until after July and her birthday. She lives in another country to me...

I love this dress. I at first ordered a medium thinking that the quality would be poor and the size run small. Thankfully there are fee returns and a small was shipped out quickly and all i needed to do was print the label and drop the dress in a ups box. The fabric is of good quality and I will be able to keep and wear this and or share this with friends that need it for an event.

The dress itself was wonderful. I did receive the wrong color but I made it work because there wasn't enough time to return it and get the correct dress. They seem to have changed the color options. When I ordered it, it had about 10 different dress images and half were sized 6/8, 10/12 etc and the other half was S, M, L etc. When I ordered it, I selected the all black option in Medium but received the black and gold option. It is a good dress, the straps are a made out of a cheap material but it held up to a night of dancing. When ordering, order with time to spare just in case you need to return it for the correct color.

Ordered this dress for my 1920s work do. Got it through today, tried it on and itâs perfect! I love it, makes me look slimmer and itâs so much better quality than I expected. And it actually looks better in life than it does in the pictures. So pleased, fast delivery. Very happy!! Only downside is, itâs a little loose around the chest area. But I did order the size 16-18 and Iâm normally a 14. That may be why, although it fits perfectly everywhere else.

Not worth the money paid, have had cheaper dresses of better quality in the past. The tassels were constantly falling off throughout the night. I havenât even dared wash it yet!

Glad I went for the larger size after asking peoples advice. I'm a 14-16 but got the 16-18 & it fits just right. Good quality dress, got it for fancy dress but defenitly wear again. Try putting it on without undoing zip as the tassels get caught up & it's very fiddly!

Beautiful dress. Initially ordered in size 10-12. I'm a size 10. Had to return as it was enormous on me. Reordered in size 6-8. I still had to take in the waist and bodice. The hips fit but the rest was more likely to fit someone size 12-14. If you do buy this size, be warned you'll need to get your sewing kit out.

It's a beautiful dress and I was able to move around at a dance class in it. It was a bit big and didn't hug my figure very well but I'm a 10 and this is a 10/12 so it is to be expected.
