Party Dress Supreme

I selected this from several dresses I ordered as it was the most "Party" like for me. I needed to have the top taken in - much to large, but that was an easy fix for the tailor. I wore it to my niece's wedding and received many compliments and "where did you get that" queries. The taffeta skirt and big bow are fun. This was just right for a big, happy family party.

Desperate to find a figure-flattering dress for an event NEXT WEEK, I was hopeful that this would be the winner. NO SUCH LUCK. As reviews indicated, it arrived twisted, crumpled and without much care. I would have kept it, but it looked horrible on my fat body. Tafetta is LOVELY and the dress could be figure-flattering, possibly, for someone MUCH trimmer or taller than I? At 5'2" the dress is "tea length" on me, which I did not mind because my legs are NOT my best asset. The only pleasant surprise for me was that it was TOO LARGE (a rarity). With a large chest, the v-neck revealed TOO MUCH cleavage for me. I'm NOT the type who likes to flaunt my chest. If I kept it, I would have has a stitch sewn in to close the neck-line a bit.

The dress arrived covered in sand. I guess the previous "owner" wore it to the beach??

Nice fabric and style but if you have large bust -- your girls will bust out so you might need to wear a tube top underneath.
