We measured and ordered the size based on those measurements but it still needs some minor alterations in order for her to wear it. Thankfully I have a friend that is a seamstress and can take care of it. It's a very pretty dress and will look great on her once it's fitted properly. Since there is no give to the material I wouldn't suggest ordering smaller and would make sure that you allow for time before your event should you need to alter it a little.

It’s a beautiful dress. It was just a little big and small at the same time. But maybe because I order the wrong size.
