Beautiful dress and I purchased it with a Christmas party in mind. Nice heavy fabric that flatters and helps hide imperfections. It just was not the right fit for me. I'm pear shaped and I can normally wear fitted dresses. But this one was a bit too lose up top. I would have to find a very padded strapless bra, and I'm not a fan of strapless bras to begin with. I would say this would accommodate a larger bust. The black wais band is a nice touch to help accentuate, but it doesn't have much, if any stretch. I found that it was very constricting if I relaxed my midsection. Would not be pretty after a night of eating and drinking. The length was great and the skirt does not ride up.
