It is true to the picture. I am 5'7, 145 lbs with a 36 c bust and ordered the large. It fits me great, but if I were any larger in the bust department then it wouldn't fit.The material feels kind of like a cheap material, but it looks great and is comfortable, so that's what matters to me. Very cute and perfect to wear in the office!

So I bought a small, and it was fine in the bust area but horribly too tight in the hip area. So if you're small busted and have hips, either size up and expect to need to take in the bodice or try a different dress (the seams are serged so only 1/4 inch seam allowance so you can't let it out any) . I do alterations so I'm keeping the dress; its very interesting design, sewn well, and adequate fabric. The rainbow insert's hem is just serged.

This is very oddly shaped. It might work well for someone with smaller waist/hips and broader shoulders. When zipped up, the waist area was quite snug, but the shoulders and arms were very loose, and the cut was quite boxy. I love the idea of this dress, but I will be returning it.
Cut oddly

I really wanted this dress to work. After reading the other reviews, I ordered a large (another reviewer with the same measurements as me recommended this). However, it is cut rather oddly. It fit my bust fine, but the waist was way too large. If I had a smaller size, it would not fit around my chest. Also, the seems along the sides were cut oddly, so they hung out stiffly like "wings" on either side from the waist down, instead of just falling naturally (ironing did not help this). The sides were not cut like an A line; they were curved out and then back in a little at the bottom, which is what caused the "wing" effect. The rainbow section hung noticeably lower than the rest of the bottom hem. It just looked awkward all around. I've returned it.

The material is sort of cheap, but seemed durable, and I think I would have kept the dress if it fit. I am 5'6, 135 lbs and got a size large. It fit me in the waist pretty well but the shoulder/chest/arms area was way, way too large, and the dress flared out strangely at the hips. It's hard for me to tell but that flare may have been sewn incorrectly.

Cute dress but it is at least three sizes too small. I am a 16 and I saw they run small. I ordered an XL and it says it fits 16/18 which is normally a great fit for me. This is not even close - more like a 9/10. Very upsetting. I wish that when these items where made and shipped from China they would say so BEFORE you purchase as they always run way, way, way too small and returns are a hassle.
Don't size up too much! Just one size up should be good.

I love this dress! I will say that I headed everyone's advice and sized up, but I sized up too much. I'm normally a small, sometimes a medium, so I got a large but it's far too big. I will be ordering the medium and returning the large, so hopefully I'll have better luck with that size.
