Cute Dress but Serious Sewing Flaws

This is a really cute dress. However, the lining is longer than the dress so looks horrible – hangs down about .75” in the back & .5” in the front. I am not willing to alter this to make it right so I returned it. The lace is pretty, good weight & a cotton blend (85% cotton, 15% poly). The lining is cheap-feeling, stretchy polyester. The sweater sleeves part is 100% cotton.Me: 5’3”, petite, 34C, 115 LBSThe size medium dress fits me pretty much as shown on the model although just a bit longer on me because I am shorter than she is (this is a short dress). The A-line of the bottom is wider than you see in the photo – I personally did not like it. It was weirdly wide on me & unflattering. It has a high waist which I find flattering – makes me look taller/longer.Measurement from top of shoulder to bottom of hem: 33”Measurement from top of shoulder to top of waist band: 12.5”

I like this dress but it is way too small. I am surprised that this brand did not size the product correctly. This is more of a size 8 or M.

The dress is actually very nice. It arrived quickly which was great because I planned to wear it on new years eve. Unfortunately the dress I received had some issues. The slip underneath is actually longer than the dress itself. The belted part of the dress sits high on the front. If you're large on top this may be an issue.

The dress is actually very nice. It arrived quickly which was great because I planned to wear it on new years eve. Unfortunately the dress I received had some issues. The slip underneath is actually longer than the dress itself. The belted part of the dress sits high on the front. If you're large on top this may be an issue.
