So what is up with the size thing?

So I ordered this recently. Arrived very quickly. Very happy with that. It was on a hanger and covered in a plastic protective covering all of which was in a plastic shipping envelope. That hanger was broken - but I'm sure that occurred in transit. But on examining the hanger, I noticed the problem. The plastic # on the hanger was for size 12. The dress was size 12. The jacket was Size 14. I ordered a 14. So how does that work? Clearly that dress didn't go with that jacket. There were plastic attachments on the dress where a sales label had once been. The jacket still had the sales labels attached.I don't know if this was seconds that was mismatched by the manufacturer or if it was a return and no one checked to see if they dress was the same size as the jacket or what.It is unfortunate because this is a pretty dress and it is long enough for a 5'9" person which is a big bonus for me. I tried it on and really liked the dress - and really the 12 would be fine --- if my chest fit into it. :( That unfortunately is why I ordered a 14 -- the girls need to breathe!Not sure what to rate this. The product is lovely and the shipping was FAST! .... but the delivery of 2 different sizes is a fail. Three stars?

I love this dress, the size fit perfectly! The quality of the material was A+ and the color was rich looking. I ordered navy blue by theway. I am so pleased, can actually order another color .

Love R& M dresses. Fit well looks great. I usually go up 1 size. I'm wearing to a wedding of a friend's son. I can't wait so excited!!
