Very classy, understated without being frumpy.

I ordered this for my cousin's wedding. I was trying to avoid "too sexy," or worse, "too young," but certainly didn't want frumpy. This dress strikes the right balance. It's simple, but not boring. The neckline and the shorter skirt keep it interesting, the simple cut keeps it from looking like it belongs in a club. The fabric is heavier, which means it doesn't show every little imperfection (or bra strap). It could be dressed up or down -- I'm wearing sparkly heels and jewelry for the wedding, but it could also be paired with something a little more understated for a daytime event. That deep neckline will keep it from being a wear-to-work or a funeral kind of dress. Although maybe with a scarf or something...I'm 5'4" and about 135 lbs, and I usually wear a 6 or an 8. (6 in Calvin Klein dresses.) I'm probably a half size smaller on top than I am on the bottom. I ordered this in an 8 and it fits pretty well. It's a tiny bit big on top, but wearably so.If you are very small or very large busted, I'm not sure this would be terribly flattering -- the fabric doesn't cling like you'd need it to.

Great dress, loved the fit n flare look. The waist is extremely fitted. It got uncomfortable after sitting down for a while.

I love this dress. It actually looks better on my wife than it does on the model.The material is fairly heavy and has a nice structure. So, if you have a little extra stomach, it will hold you in and make you look flat.Note that the cleavage "V" goes lower than most dresses so this dress is a little "racy", but I wouldn't say blatantly so. I would say it's definitely inappropriate for a funeral, possibly a bit much for a corporate function, but fun for a classy night out.

The dress has a well structured and fitted bodice and the crinoline hem gives the perfect body to the skirt. I'm hourglass shaped (UK 32GG) and the 10 is on the edge of too small in the front chest and too wide across the top of the back. With tailoring it will work for me. As mentioned by other reviewers the waist is quite fitted, with little give. Due to the construction, I suspect most would benefit from some tailoring.

I was lucky enough to get this dress at an unbeatable price. Its very sexy and feminine, I received many compliments the occasion I wear it. Everything about this dress spell classy.

Beautiful dress! This seasons dress at a huge savings... Only drawback was it came crumpled in a little bag and I had to take it to be steamed. Totally worth the discount!

The top is so very pretty and well fitted but I didn't care for the dress from the waist down, it's just too flared for my taste. I gave it 4 stars because it is a very nice dress but not my style. Very good quality and material
