Beautiful dress for a special occasion

Beautiful dress. Quality material and is very well made, the gold accents in the front bodice and jacket make it a very elegant outfit. Fit is true to size and measurements provided. Did find it to be a lot longer on me than the model at 5'4 it was just above ankle length.

First the good - Very pretty on a hanger, the fabric and color were much nicer than the pictures. The gold was prominant but more subtle than it appeared in the pictures. I was disappointed in the cut of this dress. I had expected the wide waistband to give nice definition to the waist but it was not really a waistband at all, just differnet fabric than above and below it. The dress had no shape, it fit more like a straight sheath dress. Add the very boxy jacket and it looks like you are shaped like a fire hydrant.The dress fit me well in the hips but was a bit large on top which is a common problem for me so I won't count that as a fault of the dress. I did, however, think that the jacket was much bigger than it should be; it seemed like it was at least a full size larger than the dress. I also thought it odd that despite being large on top it still pulled open across the bust. I suspect it would really pull apart on a woman with a large bust.

Gorgeous dress, just too big

I'm giving this dress 4 stars because my only complaint is it really does run large (all over) and I'm sadly going to have to return it.Having said that, this dress is beautiful! The color, the style, everything! Unfortunately there was no size smaller available for me or I would've re-ordered it. My advice would be to go down a size and you should be good to go.

Its a very pretty dress. A little large on top. The color is same as pictured. The sleeves are lined which makes the jacket kind of heavy for summertime. It would be nice in the winter.

I'm giving this dress 4 stars because my only complaint is it really does run large (all over) and I'm sadly going to have to return it.Having said that, this dress is beautiful! The color, the style, everything! Unfortunately there was no size smaller available for me or I would've re-ordered it. My advice would be to go down a size and you should be good to go.
