Solid dress, but short and tight in the chest

The material is nice, however this is far too small. I ordered the XL in the ivory, which I didn't have too high hopes for. When I opened the package, I was delightfully surprised to find the construction of the dress to be good. The stitching seamed strong and the material was soft and silky.I wish this dress fit, because it just looked and felt so beautiful. Here are my measurements: B:46" W:38" H:48" and again, I ordered the XL. It was tight across the chest. There are certain things that I can try on and say "yeah if I lost some weight this would fit" but sadly this is not one of those things. I am trying to lose weight, but even at a more healthy size I don't get a sense that this will fit.Finally, even if it fit on the chest, this dress was really short - I'm 6'0" and this hit just below my buttocks. I'd need to wear bloomers with this to not be insulting! Tall people beware!If only I could get the pattern for this dress, then I could sew one that would fit. Oh well.Overall, I would recommend this dress for shorter folks who are small in the breast. They'll look gorgeous and I think this dress will last; in a brief glance the material and construction looked solid.
Better than expected

Beautifully designed and crafted, even prettier in person since the black in the photos can't capture the texture and shimmer of the material. Size was perfect for me but anyone with a top bigger than a c cup would have a really hard time not falling out.
Skirt tore in many places

I really wanted to love this dress, and I did when I opened it from the package. It's gorgeous! However, after wearing it for a few hours with light walking involved, the skirt was tearing in numerous spots. It was embarrassing in public to have that happen... Dress it being returned.Item fit perfectly, though, I am very disappointed I have to send this dress away...

This is an AMAZING dress! High quality! It is sized very small. I typically am a size 10-12 in American sizing, and bought the XL. It fits perfectly! The âwaistlineâ does not sit at my waist, but I am not sure it is supposed to, as the cut of this dress does not have a typical waistline. I bought this for a special occasion, and I am not disappointed.
Beautiful dress, major problems

I'm 5' 3" and this hits me about an inch above the knee. I was hoping for right at the knee or maybe slightly longer. The top straps are way too short. I'm going to need to clip them and add a bit of elastic to the back so that the dress is not up around my neck. I ordered an XL, my bra size is 34 DD, and the bodice is very tight. It's a beautiful dress, but has some major problems.

I'm 5'2", 155 pounds, and I ordered a medium. The skirt was gorgeous, but the bodice is a bit small. Unlike the description, the neckline is not sweetheart and the sleeves sit weird. The dress is stretchy in the but has absolutely no give in the front. The fabric is extremely sheer, but also really pretty, the only problem I have with it is that it seems very fragile. The skirt is pretty fluffy on it's own, but in the picture I'm wearing a 22" petticoat. I had extremely high hopes for this dress, and sadly it fell short of my expectations.
