I absolutely loved this dress! It was very nostalgic and looked very pretty. It was a bit smaller than I expected. It looked great with the petticoat I ordered and I think I pulled off the 60's look successfully.

I looked at a ton of dresses on here in this style and I made sure not to buy any that had bad reviews about quality or fit, and this one did not let me down. I would definitely recommend this dress. You hear so many horror stories about ordering these "affordable" clothes and I was really surprised when I tried this dress on. There is a little stretch to the fabric which is nice.I ordered a Medium and I wanted it to be snug, I am 5'4" 150 lbs and a 34DDD bust if that helps. I want one of these in every color!

If you use their size chart you should find you are likely one or two sizes larger than American sizes, but the dress is great. I have bought several 50s style dresses and have found I like this one the best. Overall it is very comfortable and flattering. It looks even better if you get a petticoat. I am 5 foot tall so the dress goes beyond my knees but not too long. I also like that it is machine washable and low iron as I do not care for dry cleaning. Great price and looks like I paid way more than I did. I want to get more in other colors. The material has a tendency to attract a bit of lint is really the only draw back I have encountered.
Flattering style. Easy care. Comfortable to wear.

This dress is comfortable and has a bit of "give" to it. I have been sewing since I was a kid, but I find I cannot make a vintage-style dress for the low price of the dresses I find on Amazon. They are not lined nor are the hems blind-stitched, but for under $40 I find I can live without those features. The sweetheart neckline, slim-fitting midsection, and gathers from waist to bust are really flattering to me and I am not a slender gal nor am I one with an hour-glass shape I wear an exact US12 (40-33-NOYB) and ordered the XL, which is a perfect fit. I do wear a crinoline-type slip (only $11 on Amazon) to keep the skirt "puffy" when I am trying to accentuate the vintage style. I wear vintage styles often and would buy more of this dress in other colors to wear without the crinoline as it flattering either way. As a seamstress, I do own a professional iron system and a professional steamer and ironed this dress after I washed it. After washing this dress the second time, I was able to take out the wrinkles with a travel steamer.

I do like this dress overall and will be keeping it. But, some things to note.Cotton is the thinner kind, similar to a bed sheet. It's not the thick stretchy kind of.knit; it's more of a stretch woven.There are 2 seams on the torso; at the waist and underbust, that go around the back. The zipper catches at both seams ans made it very difficult to zip up. So I had to pull it up past both seams and then put on over my head to get it on.I also don't like the little puff on the sleeves at the shoulder. I know how to sew so I'll be fixing it myself, but just keep that in mind.As said, I will be keeping this dress but just be aware before you purchase.

I can't wait to wear it!One thing to watch - where it says "Please do refer to the size chart below the dress images before placing your order" - this is important!!!!!Check the size chart provided to the left of the dress along with the views of the dress before you decide what size to select. I selected 4x based on the size chart, even though this seemed very wrong. But 4x definitely translates to 16w-18w as the chart suggested.I ordered Dresstells Women's Vintage Rockabilly Petticoat Skirt Tutu 1950s Underskirt in purple to go along with it. A perfect match for color and length. The dress looks fine either with or without this.

I absolutely love my new dress from dresstells.It fits perfectly, I am a size 12 and a medium was perfect. The length was a bit too much but I'm very short so quite used to hemming myself! It looks beautiful with a without a petticoat.The package itself was vacuum packed which I thought was a great idea! Will be buying many more from dresstells!

I ordered a 2x in the black/red skull print. I get compliments on it every time I wear it. Even at church! It's the comfiest dress I have ever worn. I'm usually an XL but the 2x fits perfectly. I'm 5'8" and 160 lbs size 36C cup. I wear a black petticoat underneath. The dress looks weird without it so I HIGHLY recommend getting one. But it's seriously the only dress I've ever own that I can wear all day and not want to take it off because it's so pretty and comfortable! Looks kickass with a pair of tall black boots.

I love this dress so much, I am so sad to have to return it. I ordered three of these dresses in three different prints. Out of the three that I ordered, two of them came damaged. The zipper on the blue one wouldnât come down the very first time I opened it from the package. It just would not understand, I couldnât see that it was stuck on anything it just would not for anything. The second dress that was damaged the zipper works just fine, but the zipper is coming apart from the dress already with poor stitching. I couldnât wear it for fear that it would rip completely off if I sat down. If I knew how to sew I would so it back on to the dress and just be bothered by the poor quality. But, that particular dress the fabric colors just a little bit off than what I expected. The specific print Iâm talking about is the teal colored dress with the flowers. I expected the pink flowers to be light pink like the picture, but they are neon bright pink. Also thereâs a couple of other off colors on the dress, a really ugly brown and a dark green and a bright blue that just doesnât show up right in person but looks good in the picture. Iâm going to purchase the Grace Karin version of this same dress and hope that their fabric is a little bit less tacky looking.

I loved this dress when it arrived, and have worn it 5-6 times in the first month. Unfortunately zip completely broke and I have missed the returns date by one week so no chance of getting it changed. Therefore I have revise my original five star review to give it just one star.

This dress is ultimately comfy to wear and looks really striking. I'm a size 14-16 but with a fairly large bust so I went for the XXL but wouldn't have handled it any smaller. The zip is a bit awkward over the seam but otherwise, amazing value. I'm buying another one in a different design

Fits ok - bought xl to fit size 14 top with g cup. Sleeves are snug fit, but ok.Zipper quite awkward especially over the waistband - needed someone else to fasten it for me. Arrived in bag so quite creased - looks better when ironed. Better with underskirt to make skirt fuller.

Little upset as was promised that the delivery date was over estimated and would arrive on date that I needed. If you are large busted you made need to consider going up a size. Saying that the dress feels lovely on.

I initially ordered a medium because i wear a 10-12, but i would say if you have a big bust to maybe get the bigger size, I had to return the medium and get a large instead. I am 5ft 10 and the dress went to my knees so it is a good length. I was extremely happy with the dress all in all, would definelty recommend.
