Love this dress!

Very nice feel, soft and light. Perfect for these hot Texas days. I used the chart in the picture and have gotten a great fit. I may be a bit busty but it is still modest. I love that! I changed the sash out for a belt. This is without a petticoat but I plan to use one from time to time for a changed look.
Beautiful dress; colors are even more attractive in person!

Beautiful dress; colors are even more attractive in person! I am 5'8" and wear a 16/18 - this fell just below my knee, and XXL fit very well overall. A smidgen tight in the chest (I'm a 38/40D), but not uncomfortably so. I wouldn't recommend this if you carry your weight in your middle, but if you're like me and carry it in your hips/legs, this is a great choice! So attractive!
Best for short waisted ladies

I'm still debating whether to send this back or not. The color is a beautiful sky blue and the dress seems well made. I ordered based on measurements (36/29/38, 5'9.5") and the bust and waist sized fit fine, but my torso is much longer than their petite asian dress forms, so the waist doesn't hit at my actual waist, but about 3 inches up. This makes the petticoat designed to fit the skirt stick out 3 inches below the skirt (which hit just above my knee) and also makes me look like I'm wearing a babydoll dress instead of a vintage tea dress (and kind of makes me look pregnant). I'm considering trying to cut it apart and add some length in the middle (maybe with the fabric from the sash?) but the zipper goes halfway down the skirt so I'm not sure how I'd work around that. Measuring the bodice, the waistline is about 16 inches from the shoulder seam, so hopefully that will help someone else with their measurements decide whether or not to order this dress.Edit:I ended up keeping it and taking the skirt off, opening up the sash and adding it to the bodice, and putting it all back together. Looks great now, but a lot of work on an off-the-rack dress.
Impressive fit and quality!

I used the manufacturer's size chart (shown along the left side with the alternate images of the dress) in order to select the size rather than using the Amazon chart. I would normally wear a medium but the manufacturer's chart recommended a large. I am glad I purchased the large because the fit was perfect! Very flattering and not too tight. The waistline sash accentuates the look. Although I purchased a petticoat to wear underneath, I like the look without one and would say that it isn't necessary. I was impressed by the high quality of the material and craftsmanship. I highly recommend this dress!
Fit for petite proportioned only!
Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2016
While the measurements may fit my size by the book and I can zip up the dress, it's clear that the bodice is way too short and was not sized in proportion to the measurements. It's no good if a waistline comes up to the center of your bustline! Besides increasing measurements, the design requires increasing back-waist length for a larger size. This is more suitably called "petite proportioned."
Strange cut/fit

Pretty fabric... but the waist is super high, like just under my breasts. And I'm already short-waisted. So there's no way I can wear this, and because it arrived a few days before a trip, by the time I was back from my trip (which I had to take without my new dress), I was past the window to return it. So now I'm stuck with a dress no woman can wear. I've ordered similar dresses from other companies and never had a problem with fit before; but won't order from this company again.I had to choose "fit as expected" because it was not too large or too small--just not shaped like a person. It definitely did not fit "as expected."
Cute Dress - Worth the Money - Sizing Bigger than I Expected
Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2017
I bought this dress because I wanted something cute that actually fit me while trying to lose weight post-partum. I'm about 5'9" and wear a US size 8 dress post-baby. I have a moderately short torso, long legs, and not very big shoulders. I wasn't positive where I best fit in the sizing chart they provided, but gave it my best guess and ordered an XL. It was way too big, so I returned it and ordered a large, which fits perfectly. The fabric has a semi-stiff cotton feel with some stretch to it. I can't say it's the most high quality dress I've ever had, but it's very cute and definitely worth the price.A few criticisms: I wish that it was a few inches longer. It hits me about two inches above the knee. Any shorter and I wouldn't feel modest wearing it. Also, they've doubled over the patterned fabric to line the dress (instead of using plain white), so on the white dress you can see a hint of pattern showing through from the inside. All in all: cute dress, worth the money, probably better for shorter-torsoed people with not very broad shoulders.
Neckline didnt work for my small shoulders

The pattern is exactly as pictured, crisp white with an elegant blue victorian pattern. I love the little cap sleeves. They dont bind or pinch at all on me and I wouldnt say my arms are "fit." My measurements are 38-34-46. In a pear shaped size 12, 5 foot tall, 155lbs. So these style of flared dresses do a nice job of modestly concealing my big hips! This dress comes just a few inches below my knee so most taller gals would be knee length for you. I could fit the L but it was a littme snug in the waist, while the XL gave me waist room but was too large in the bust. The material has some stretch so the L wasnt too tight for comfort. I ended up returning because of the neckline for though. I tried both the large and the XL but both had the same problem, although was better with the large. This dress has wide shoulders. I do not. So the slightly boat neckline wouldnt lay flat and kept puckering in the middle. It wasnt too bad in the large but the XL would have required alteration if I kept it. So thats why I gave it r stars and returned. The fit isnt great for a petite frame but with some minor alteration, it is a very nice dress. The fabric isn't cheap or scratchy and really looks more exoensive than it is.
