Loved this Dress

I just love this dress. Based on the company size chart, I chose 3X. I wear size 16 dress normally. The dress fit me very comfortably and was very flattering. It does feel very vintage and like old time movies. I like the 3/4 sleeve and the neckline. Perfect evening party dress or even daytime for special occasion. Material is cottony and not super stretchy. I will update my review after I wash it. There is a zip in the back that goes almost till waist, so easy to put it on and take it off. Overall, I highly recommend this dress. I was not so sure about the floral pattern, but it looks great when you wear it and is quite flattering.
Wow! I love it!

I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. I followed the size chart and ordered a Large. I wanted a dress that would conceal my tummy and look flattering. I am pear shaped so this dress was perfect. I'm not busty 34-36B, I am a bit hippy. I am about 5'3 150 LBS. The dress is thick enough that I dont have to worry about having the perfect seamless undergarments, but still a light cotton so it can be worn in the late spring and summer. Falls below the knee, which is what I wanted. Its hard to find clothes that fit, modest and make you feel pretty...that is also affordable.

Super cute and pretty dress for a great price

This dress is really cute, and the patterns offered are so pretty! I purchased the purple flowered one (with the mostly white background). The material is nice. It is relatively thick/structured, but does have some stretch to. The white parts are tad bit see-through (brightly colored undergarments would probably be seen)Length: this dress is much longer than I expected. the proportion of the length of the skirt to the bodice seems a bit off from the official pictures. Check out the pics that other purchasers posted bc those give a very accurate idea of the length. I'm 5'9" and it hits me mid-calf. I am definitely going to hem this to hit somewhere around the knees. The skirt is full enough to accommodate a petticoat (would give this dress a really nice vintage/retro look). Without the petticoat it just looks like a pretty patterned office dress.I was worried about the arms. I don't think my arms look particularly large, but I've definitely had issues with sleeves not fitting my arms. These sleeves fit around my arms perfectly. The fabric is a bit stretchy but not as stretchy a knit/cotton top.
Great dress!

The dress is exactly how it looks online. It is beautiful and appears to be well made. Longer than I would have thought ( about mid calf) but that's much better than being too short. The only issue is that it runs small, very small. I bought a size up to account for that but I could barely stuff myself in an XL. I thought XL would be equivocal to a 14/16 but this is more like a 10/12. Quality fabric but no instructions on laundering.
ACEVOG Classy Vintage Hepburn - Purple & white 3/4 sleeves

This dress came in no time, of course I have prime. It was as beautiful as the display. A few things to note:1. It runs small, even if you buy a size up from your size. The dresses are standard and the larger size may not fit your boobs or arms even though it is one up.2. Compared to other sellers the fabric isn't as thick, but it isn't see through and it is airy or breezy, yet not flimsy.3. It is worth the price, but I also found the same style dress by a different vendor for less.Shop around and read person's reviews they are helpful. I saw someone say buy a size up and I did, because they run small, but I'd say buy two sizes up from this vendor and perhaps alter it to fit your unique body.4. I returned mine, hence 4 stars,it didn't fit. I would buy again though but 2 sizes up -- that doesn't really make me feel too happy when I see the large size number
It does wrinkle easily, however

Bought this for a wedding. At first, I thought the material had no real stretch and was definitely scratchy/itchy. But I handwashed it and then ironed it while it was damp. It does wrinkle easily, however, if you're careful and sit pulling out the sides of the dress, it's fine. It wasn't scratchy at all and definitely seemed to have more stretch after washing. It's almost like there is sizing or starch in the dress that made it stiff in the beginning, but I would recommend washing it before wearing. I'm 5'8", 150 lbs. and I bought a large. You don't have to worry about big hips as this dress flares out somewhat. My arms are a little heavy and the sleeves were fitted, but comfortable. I did use my hands inside the sleeve to stretch out the arms a little. I got lots of compliments on the dress and would recommend this brand. As a side note, I also bought the same dress in the same size from Vogtage brand on Amazon and the cut is a little tighter, the neck a little wider (did not sit flat on my shoulders) and the arms were a little tighter. For me, the Acevog fit better.
Pretty, 3/4 sleeve, Blue Rose Dress
Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2016
This 3/4 sleeve, pretty dress is modest, well made and has an invisible zipper in the back. It arrived in less than a week and ships from Kentucky. It's made of quality cotton and would need ironing. The fabric isn't thin. The waist sits high and there is a tie in the back. There is a nice flare to the dress and the length is long on me because I'm 5'2". It came down to just above my ankles. I used the waist measurement only on the ACEVOG size chart, not the Amazon chart and determined that I should order size XXL. The XXL equals a size 14 dress. I normally take a size Large and I'm 143 lbs. The waist fit well. The boat-neck was too wide, showing my bra strap and the back of the neck was too wide also. The sleeves were too loose and would need taking in. I could have altered the dress but chose to send it back. I printed a UPS label off of my computer, attached the label to my package and brought the package to the nearest UPS center. Later that same day, Acevog and Amazon credited my Amazon account. This pretty, blue rose dress was worth a try. If I had lost weight I could have chosen the XL and the neck and sleeves would have been more proportionate.
