BEAUTIFUL dress, but buyer be AWARE!!

First of all, the dress arrived in a plastic parcel BAG! All rumpled up & as the BAG had an ever so small tear,the dress WAS slightly exposed! Not ok!!Secondly, when I took the gown out of the bag, obviously it was a MASS OF WRINKLES! There is a pleated waistband on the dress, and now the pleats go in ALL DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS! Instead of lying flat, they're a mess. I tried fidgeting with them to make them lie down one way, or the other - either lying down or facing upwards, but they DO NOT STAY! Thirdly, I ordered a size #. However, when MacCloth sent me an e-mail to tell me they had received my order & asked for my exact measurements, I was in the hospital, & unable to respond right away. My next email from them was telling me that the dress had shipped. I thought I would only need to have it hemmed, as I am only 5' 0". The dress arrived a lot sooner than I anticipated. Normally this would be great news, but it wasn't, as it turned out! The chest is stiff & enormous, the shoulders are way too big, the torso is tight, the sleeves are NOT 3/4 sleeves, they come down to my wrists! I personally don't know any women with arms that are 12" longer than a 3/4 sleeve!! Even if they're tall!! The best part, you should be aware of is that the dress is definitely NOT good for a warm weather, outdoor wedding!! The dress also weighs a ton - not literally, but it is pretty darn heavy! I can't imagine walking around all day wearing a dress that heavy! My suggestion to anyone that wants to purchase this dress is this: It IS a BEAUTIFUL dress!! Make sure to get your measurements in to them the DAY they ask. Make sure to measure your arm length carefully, & do NOT plan on wearing this for a warm weather, outdoor affair! AND, be prepared for the weight of the dress!! It really is beautiful, but the PACKAGING leaves a LOT TO BE DESIRED!! So be prepared to spend quite a bit of money having it pressed, cleaned AND altered!!! This dress is 11" longer than I am. I know there are 6' & taller, women, but it is not necessarily common, so I think the dress is exceptionally long! As I said, the dress IS BEAUTIFUL, but all of the above factors NEED to be taken in to consideration!! Buyer be aware!!

I cannot say enough, the dress is beautiful! MA cloth did a perfect job. Accurate in measuring. Told me to e-mail if I had any questions. The dress look just like the picture. KOODOOS MA cloth.
