So happy with this purchase. After ordering, the seller contacted me to double check the size, and I ended up going with custom measurements instead of a standard size. It arrived today. Beautiful. I am 5'3" and even in heels it is very long. I will take it to get it hemmed; I knew it would be long based on previous reviews. It works well with or without a petticoat. Dress arrived before estimated date on Amazon.Two photos, one of the dress as is, the second is with a full skirt petticoat underneath.

You need this dress, no questions asked. Fits true to size and is flexible with the corset lace up in the back. GORGEOUS color and very figure flattering. These pictures explain it all.

I originally ordered it in red, but had to return it to get a smaller size. I thought I needed to go up in size. You definitely need someone to help you get dressed. As a single woman, it was difficult doing it alone. It can be done, but extremely difficult. I made sure to buy extra high heels and they were still not high enough. Most ball gowns are long like this for alteration purposes - so I get it. However I didnt have time for that. Everyone loved my dress. Who wouldn't love a dress that had a built in control top! The corset is the ultimate control top and you can make it as loose or as tight as you'd like.
Gorgeous dress at a great price! Needed a few tweaks before I wore it.

This is a gorgeous, well made dress with a lot of wow factor. It is a great value for the price charged. I received a lot of compliments when I wore it to a recent charity ball and felt like a princess. That being said, the dress was way too long, even though I submitted my measurements. With two large petticoats and platform heels, there was still about three inches of fabric puddling around me. The fabric lacing that came with the dress was too short for the dress - there wasn't enough to lace it when it was on the hanger, much less when I put the dress on! Luckily, I'm a theatrical costumer, so I was able to take the faux bow off the dress and make a second lace for the part of the dress below the waist .... and still the original lace was too short to tie into a bow. I barely had enough to make it to the top of the dress, so I sewed the original lace into the top grommets of the dress. Also, keep in mind that the only closure on this dress is the lacing up the back so it is IMPOSSIBLE to dress yourself in this dress. Because the lacing was too short and had to be sewn to the gown and because I live alone, I installed a zipper into the side seam and was ready to go to the ball.

So, my daughter calls me from a fancy fine arts camp & tells me she needs a formal for her solo. None of her gowns are appropriate. Amazon Prime to the rescue! Read the sizing charts! Fit as expected, beware, VERY HEAVY. But very beautiful. She used a steamer (also Prime purchase ) and was good to go! What a great buy!!

This dress was a perfect fit for me. Now granted I am 5'11" and normally would wear a size 14 dress. I am also small in the chest area so the padded part there provided excellent coverage without making it look like I was overcompensating. I wore 2 inch heels and those kept the dress at a perfect length so if you aren't of the tall description then definitely plan for some alternations or it will be on the floor. I did wear a skirt underneath that gave it extra poof. Very pleased with everything about it.

This was such a gorgeous dress! It was in the running for an event I went to but decided on another. I wish I had another event for this dress! It ran a little small but a size up worked fine. The dress had boning to keep it up even off the shoulders and a beautiful corset back. The material was fine quality and everything was properly lined. A heavy dress overall but comfortable and without fear of falling down.

We absolutely loved this dress. We purchased it as a wedding dress and received soooo many compliments.The material is very nice, especially for the price. It exceeded our expectation. It is long enough to be worn with 4" heels and still drape the ground and I am 5'8".The lacing at the back of the dress allows it to fit like it is custom made.We purchased crinoline to wear underneath, but decided not to wear it. It didn't need it.The color is bright, bold, and beautiful. It blended perfectly with the color palatte we chose.I would definitely recommend purchasing this dress

This dress made me feel like the belle of the ball. Material is beautiful and high quality. Shipping was extremely fast. I plan on buying another one for the Summer ball.
