Comfortable, classy, sexy dress

I have this Simlu Short sleeve dress in the color Burgandy.I love the design. It is simple and classic yet has several points of interest including a built in sarong-inspired tie waist, slight rouching and a cute high v back. The fabric is soft and the dress is comfortable like a t-shirt, yet looks more polished. I found the fit true to size using the size charts.My husband loves this dress as he thinks it is sexy and classy at the same time. I, on the other hand. I like it, but it is not quite right for my body type. I have a short, hourglass shape with a few too many sands. This dress would look amazing on hourglass and pear shapes, but in my case it does emphasize my belly a little too much. That has always been my problem zone even when I was a teenager who weighed 90 pounds. I was surprised as wrap dresses, wrap tops and sarong tie skirts are my most flattering styles. I kind of expected the same from this dress. It isn't bad, if my lower belly were a little flatter, I would love this dress. I do love the way it subtly emphasizes the curve between the waist to the hips. I suspect that is why my DH loves this dress (he told me I should give it 5 stars).I recommend this dress for ladies who like a body conscious fit and who also like comfort. I have another skirt from Simlu and find the clothing is well made, yet affordable. Even more amazing is that some of their items are made in the USA! Given the price and that they are USA made, the material isn't the most expensive material. However, they are on my list of brands to watch when I need a few seasonal items. They are one of my favorite Amazon clothing sellers.I received this dress at a discount to review. All opinions and experiences described are my own.
