Glamorous and gorgeous!

For years I've longed to wear a glamorous 1920s dress, but none were available for my plus-sized frame. I was hesitant to order this one for an upcoming event, but I'm familiar with Unique Vintage (who make amazing and accurate reproduction vintage garments), so I took a chance. I'm SO happy I did!Fit:I followed the fit guide on the Unique Vintage website (every dress fits differently, and a guide is provided for each), and the dress I ordered fits perfectly; for reference, a US size 16 converts to a 3X in this particular dress. I'm 5'6" with an extremely short waist, and the length is perfect.Quality:The attention to detail is amazing, and the cut is perfect for a curvy frame (something I thought I'd never say about a drop-waist garment). The quality is excellent (the beading is all done by hand), and a small bead repair kit is provided for when sequins and beads fall off, as is their nature. Be careful when putting the dress on or taking it off if you have long hair (maybe pull it back first) - there are a LOT of tiny beads for hair to get caught in, and this is a pull-on dress.Styling:The dress is quite sheer, as the photos show, so be prepared to wear a full slip underneath. The beads are iridescent (not silver), and catch the light from any angle. I plan to pair this with heels and a beaded shawl - there are also some really cute boleros and capelets on Amazon for those wanting to cover shoulders on a chilly evening.Overall, I can't wait to dance the night away in this luxurious dress!
This dress is made VERY poorly and runs 2-3 sizes ...

This dress is made VERY poorly and runs 2-3 sizes too small. I wear a 14/16, ordered a 3X and couldn't get it on. When I attempted to resew some beads on so someone else could wear this see through monstrosity, it ripped to shreds.

Fit as expected, given the description provided in sizing chart. EVERYONE please read sizing chart, as I ordered a size much larger than I normally would have, however, once I read the sizing chart I knew I needed to order a 3x if I normally wore a 16-18 dress size. The dress fit very well, a little loose, which is what I wanted and looked best for this style. You don't want it to be tight and pull.
I'm really disappointed.

I purchased it according to the size chart, and couldn't get it over my boobs. Also way too expensive for the quality it is. I'm really disappointed.
