This dress is a little high waisted. I'm already petite (5 feet), so I don't need a dress that shortens the appearance of my torso. If you are tall, the short torso will look cutesy/girly. Normally I would recommend this style (high-waisted) dress to tweens or teenagers, but this is a sophisticated looking dress for an adult. I wish the pop-over lace top was 3-4 inches longer. Also the pleated skirt and lining are a bit sheer, so this must be worn with a slip, even though it is lined, or it will be see-through. Dress has potential, but not for me.

nice dress, but the cut of the top is very tight if you have wide shoulders - I sent it back.
Lovely dress; wish bodice was a bit longer.

I love this dress, but I wish the lace bodice was two or three inches longer. It makes me look very short waisted and therefore is not flattering.
